When you drive over the bridge at the Mexborough side on both sides it almost feels like a speed bump on the road I think it's sinking I ride over it daily so it's been like this for last few years but now it's getting like being a jump it could be the split at 36:30
Loved it.
I have just posted a link to this Gem of a video on the Barnsley railways past and present FB group .
These are pure gold. I’d love to see the footage after going through an AI enhancer.
Hats off to you gentleman. 👏
Flaming cord 😂
Thank you guys for your time and effort to researching. Great poem.
Brilliant love it
Beautiful
WOW ! What a fantastic place and its not been attacked by idiot vandals.
I will say thank God for people like you. We need to retain our heritage. Church pipe organs are integrial to our culture and they must be protected and preserved, it is vital.
Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing. Greetings from the USA.

Good memories
It that a younger Mike King there?
Yes it's Mike
I went through this tunnel about 20 to 22 years ago when I was 10 and I lived in the Don pub on main road heading back to Swinton cool memories 👍👍
Very sad, when my dads job moved from Peterborough to Hotpoint in Swinton we moved with it. Bought a house up Racecourse Road but it wasn't ready so we rented the rooms at the thin end of the Ship from Audrey and Melvin....lived there for about 3 months. Later on my mum cooked Sunday roasts there...Then when I was 17/18 used to go every weekend....a lot of memories, lot of friends...lot of good times... Lived there in 1970 as a 6 year old and drank there in the early 80s
I remember Jill telling me.
Ethel Elise May Flatres nee Ruff, My Great grandmother, lost her life in this crash traveling back home from visiting her daughter Joan in Watford.
I wonder if the facade pipes are real.
Very nice little organ! 👍
Very verry iteresting
all things have an end
This makes me feel proper old
They should've destroyed that garbage church
Absolutely beautiful. All Churches should get destroyed rightfully so.
Yesssss!
And the traffic still Q’s all the way to the police station even with the bridge
I'm surprised they did all that work but kept those old tuning slides.
Why change them?

Brilliant!
Used to play cricket for Adwick in the late 60s
Sad to see, this pub once featured in an episode of “I Didn’t Know You Cared”, a classic sitcom on BBC1. Probably now luxury apartments with a view of the South Yorkshire Navigation Canal.
Sad to watch, looked a great pub. Gee.
Bless him
a very sad video but glad you made it. The organ in this video is a 1960s Compton electrone built in the 1960s - the same Compton company that built the famous cinema organs in the 1930s. I wonder what happened to it. It sound in good shape.
I attended a trip with friends, and I took my elderly mother and great nephew who was a young boy. He was elated when the captain allowed him onto the bridge of the boat. It was a lovely evening, very scenic and calming. Thank You.
Kinda sounds like my church st peters counisbrough
Very well done video would like to see more
Are you narrating Ron? You sound like Tony Hirst, from 'How it's made' tv show! A brilliant historical snapshot, that is more important, the more time passes! Edit... Ahh, just watched all the credits Ron... Very very well done Sir!!!

Evening valley lift. Ron`s favourite.
I walked along here the other day. It's a really short stretch of canal. Probably not even quarter of a mile long
Thanks Ron, great video.
