River clean-up with the Unimogs

We put our old army trucks to use for a good cause!
Taking out the trash in hard to reach places.
Over gravel and into the wetlands, the Funkkoffer, Pritche and the one ton trailer are the garbage-trucks for this special job.
Together with outdoor and LARP group "Toys in the Attic" we are cleaning up the river banks of the Maas. We have been doing this for several years, and the Unimogs are perfect to get the waste out of hard to reach places.
We do it all for project "Schone Rivieren" (Clean Rivers)
And we managed to remove a lot of trash out of the environment.

Well the most surprising find turned out to be that military helmet, after some research at home i found out it's a genuine WW2 US helmet liner. Fabricated between 1942 and 1945. but the inflatable boat that was somehow still inflated and didn't leak was also a fun find XD
