Shot film for decades. I don't miss the hassle and the cost. Years ago when I used film, I would shoot about 200 photos on vacation. Now on our last vacation, in the same amount time I shot over 1200 photos.
I totally agree I went to Europe Iin 1982 i shot 55 rolls of film i had one camera with 200 film and one with the new 1500 Kodak film . I did photograph the Sistine Chaple without flash with the new film . And I'm glad I did as you can no longer photograph it . I bought a photography kit with a Pentax Spotamatic SP11 I had to replace the light Seals to make it work if Ipthe camera had not come with the kit I would not have even messed with I bought my first DSLR in 2005 and I sold my film cameras and never looked back digital is so much better in every way compared to film
I got a film ONN resuable camera that I just started using this week. Reviews aren't great, but for 20 bucks, it is worth a shot. It came with a roll of film, but I also got some Fuji film that I will try out. But I did score a nice camera in great condition from eBay. It's a vintage RICOH Mirai Zoom 35-135mm. Saw it on Batman (1989) when Bob the Goon was spying on Vicki Vale. Everything appears to work, and I'm going to try it out soon. I miss something about film. It definitely makes you more intentional with each shot. Hope your film roll turns out.
That’s really cool! One thing I have learned to appreciate about film after talking to people who shoot it, is that a lot of their cameras have history or a story behind them.. pretty cool 😎
@@AngelaZuniga No hard feelings. Every time I see a YT vid about shooting film, I start checking prices on old film cameras. I CANNOT get another piece of gear right now!
I’m looking forward to seeing the shots. I never shot with film, but I might give it a try.
