She was arrested sentenced to some pretty hefty prison time, after a few years in prison she was mistakenly released .

I'm not Indonesian, but you know the laws in Indonesia and they still did what they did. Besides, don't forget that it is the Australian police who sent intelligence to Indonesia about Bali 9 case. If thry didn't want them dead why they didn't arest them in Australia?

@@aaronkastriotiseni1406 they were younger and immature. They knew what they were doing was wrong however they didn’t understand the dire consequences of their actions. Clearly they didn’t “know” the laws. Looking for fast money. That’s the bottom line, In the Bali9s case. However they were both executed. Despite them seemingly being rehabilitated and helping others while incarcerated. Also I do agree that the Australian government knew of the activity. I’m curious to know why they didn’t handle their own citizens?!?? Handing them over to the Bali government was a clear sellout. However the big question is this:
Those guys were transporting the drugs. How did it get IN the country....??? Quite frankly because it was already there.
Also, these documentaries don’t quit tell the entire story of how everything transpired.

The Filipino are suffering because of their government. Why do they have to go out of the country to work? This is not a war torn country! Government officials get wealthier while the poor get poorer. They have too many kids they cannot afford to feed or educate. It is sad to see the poverty in such a small country as the Philippines. The country should start to help their own people, but there is too much corruption. Officials promise false hope during the corrupt elections. Sad to see Filipino women all over the Middle East and Asia working away from their families while most of the men stay home. If it wasn’t for the Filipino women sending money back home, that small county would be bankrupt.

This is the second time the Philippines impressed me. I am from TRINIDAD 🇹🇹 originally, but I live in Canada. Here in Canada they go on and on about recycling rubbish. Oh they shame you for not helping climate change and what not. Only to find out, CANADIAN companies were shipping all the trash that were supposed to be recycled, to the Philippines. The president or Prime Minister of the Philippines sent boat loads of the mess back to Canada. You should have seen Trudeau’s face. Him eye water dry up yuh seh meh? So me ah tek notes……..

Long story short: good job making Islam look backwards, sexist, hateful and overall deeply retarded. And I apologize to mentally differently-abled folks for using the hate speech, but more because those Islamic terrorists are not worthy of comparison with them.

I am pretty sure the Catholic Church has made its stance on birth control and will not change its mind, at the same time they have expressed their strong views and condemnation of the death penalty and we see how much that has helped. The church has less power over politics than you believe. Also, without financial help coming from their own government, how exactly should a church help out. The Catholic Church doesn't force their followers to give mandatory tithings as do many other religions or hold has much power over its followers as do other religions.

Correlation doesn't equal causation. There is a lot at work that keeps that area impoverished. Pointing fingers in the wrong places only continues the problem, since you aren't looking towards the issues actually causing poverty.

Countries that murder people who deal drugs, or in this case, are used as a mule who didn't know that she was being used as a mule, and most likely would NEVER have agreed to transport drugs if she had been asked or told the truth about what was in the suitcase that was handed to her to transport. Obviously, the woman who dragged this poor woman to two different countries, lied to her, she knew what she was doing, and she clearly had or has no remorse from the looks of things. She and the man who turned themselves into the police was only a tactic to try and stay alive after they were exposed as the asswipes who clearly con unsuspecting and desperate people... mostly young women of working age... to travel to countries as drug mules under the guise of being offered REAL jobs that actually don't even exist.
These scum who sit at the top of these drug empires are sociopaths, and often sometimes even psychopaths who have no qualms whatsoever who suffer under their narcissistic and vicious agendas. It's really unfortunate that the top drug bosses can't be apprehended and made a lesson of. Unfortunately again, when you try and wipe out a person or a group of people thinking that you're going to solve the problem that way... all you really do is create a perpetual vacuum that allows that space to be filled continually, ad nauseam.

When that amount of money is involved, cutting the head of the snake won't solve things. They will be replaced. Get rid of the demand, and the big bosses would have nobody to sell to.

This is about a woman who escaped a firing squad. What does condoms and family planning have to do with that??? She didn't populate the country on her own. If her family doesn't have money for food how do you expect them to pay for condoms and birth control? (Not that it has anything to do with the point of the video)

Eighteen years ago in 2003 I went on what was called a "drug holiday" to Indonesia. Basically you book a couple of weeks in Indonesia and travel the northern coast of Java staying with locals in small bed and breakfasts and sample the local opium. I will never forget the signs all over the airport entering Jakarta. Skull and cross bones declaring all sorts of drug crimes that carry the death penalty in Indonesia, and in so many languages. I stayed two nights, refused to connect with my guide, and then moved on to Thailand. There was and is absolutely no way my bag would have weighed 6 kilograms more than I anticipated when I left Indonesia. I packed my own bag and once I was out of my hotel and on the way to the airport it never ever left my possession.
I don't advocate for the death penalty nor do I believe anyone in this story got what they deserved. But. Be assured, they knew the risk they were taking and that was that they would be executed if caught in possession of heroin at any time in Indonesia. You can't miss the signs.

It's our responsibility as a parents to see if we have the capacity to have a big family.
Doing "birth control" doesn't mean NO SEX at all. There are a lot of options, we only need a little knowledge about it.
Although, some are bad to our health but as I've said we have options.

YOU may have 'options', but there are many who don't have that luxury. You are priviliged to live a life in a society that allows those choices. Your comment 'we all have choices' is naive to say the least, and is based on ignorance and lack of understanding of just how desperate life can be in poverty... particularly in countries like this woman's homeland. Imposing your morality and standards in situations like this displays arrogance and lack of understanding 🙄
