Ohuhu sells bleed proof paper now just so you know, and one more thing, the blender marker is supposed to be placed first and then you can blend markers easier on top :D
i know this is a bit late, but sketching with colored pencils works without having smudges! I like using prismacolor's erasable colored pencils for that if you like how it looks with keeping the sketch visible @@nadyartillustration
This was such a great video. I think because you were new to the markers, you were learning along side us and asking (and then answering) all the questions newbies would ask. Thank you for sharing your first experience with these markers - you did so great. I absolutely love you whimsical style of art 🧡
love the characters you painted!!❤ I'm also very unfamiliar with alcohol markers but I really enjoyed trying the Ohuhu ones this year!! made me kind of a fan of adding a pop of color into my sketchbooks more often hahah I still haven't figured out how to use the colorless blender though! 😅🤣 I've heard of no-bleed-through paper made by rendr crescent, but I haven't tried those out!

Ohhh that is good to know, thank you so much for mentioning!! I will pin your comment for others to see ❤
looks so good ❤ I am also quite unfamiliar with alcohol markers and it was nice to see you using them 🥰
Thank you very much Mia ❤ I really liked trying them out :)
You can add coloured penciled over top or crayon. Mix your mediums
Yes! I still would like to try this 🥰

Awww they’re so very cute. I would have love to see the other character as you make them with your commentaries.
Thank you! I will keep that in mind 🥰

You’ve made such a great and complete review! 😊 This video made me want to get back to the markers I have currently and practice some more 🧡
Btw, the characters were cute as sketches and became cuter after coloring 🧡 You can try gouache next time 😅
Thank you so much! 🩵

These are so cute! I think you might know by now, but the colorless blender is a misnomer. It's really a color lifter. Sneaky.
Ohhh that IS sneaky! 😅
they are only for outlining if you make a mistake you must blend with a lighter color@@nadyartillustration
You can put the blender on the page first and the markers will blend easily
