Thanks man, I love when you do this TC Line. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't know the extra little weird stuff these pedals do. Nobody else really highlights that. Thanks!
Is this based on the old Fender Vibratone? I've been begging Catalinbread and Wampler to make a Vibratone pedal for YEARS. Welp, TC beat them to it. Shoulda listened to me.
Hello, will this give the high freq shrill thing? You know, the thing like flanger, chorus, phaser, univibe I see this doesn't give a deep accent like other mod So I'm planning to put this after distortion And if it has it, that will make the shrill even more obvious Well, I won't hear the shrill through the mic though since it only captures 1 spot of the cab But still annoys me when hearing the amp directly Hahaha...
I feel like if you were to make Toffee Pie into a sound, it would sound like this, Sweet, Gooey but Crispy, very nice, would like to hear the Franken SL on this, I would say definitely go a head and mod it. Also, I would like to know if you have a Baritone, I think you would really click with one, plus they are great for when you "Just want to play something a bit different". As Always, All the Best. ~Jay
Well I for one would love to see it in more videos, and with all these Pedals, I'd like to see you make a video or two creating a crazy signal chain and playing with it, just pick four random pedals and see how they play together sort of thing. ~Jay
Hey Ryan, Do you think I could put another footswitch on the Vibraclone to switch between Choral & Tremolo(IOWs, a click footswitch not a momentary one)? Thanks my man and if you have any tips on how to wire it or what not to do, I'd be very grateful.
@@60CycleHumcast Thanks A Lot. Btw, after I messaged you, I stumbled on the Danelectro Big Spender. It already has a ramp footswitch and it seems to retain the high end better than the Vibroclone. The only draw back is it takes about 10 seconds to ramp. I dont know what they were thinking with that. The Vibraclone's ramp time when switched is perfect(about 4 or 5 seconds). I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too. Rock On Bro!
My question is what kind of vibrato circuit does this pedal have? Does it use a pulsing lightbulb like the original univibe has or a pedal like the Fulltone Dejavibe? I found no such information on the TC Electronics web site. I find the width of the speed control to be much narrower than other like pedals. It doesn't go as slow or as fast as others and isn't as lush sounding. It certainly comes close to a univibe effect and for the price is a cool way to get a simular effect. TC is a great company for sure but compared to many other univibe effect pedals it lacks the complexity in tone. Even the cheap plastic Danelectro Chicken Salad pedal is a more faithful copy of the original in tone. Thanks for your demo and great job of showing the features and tones of the Vibraclone.
On another topic man I know you use a Wacom tablet & I am dying to get one can you give me any tips on which one to get on a budget? I have been dying to go digi with my drawings & paintings for ages. I was born holding a pencil but it was not a digi one sadly. Good old graphite but it has its limits. Im stone age with tech. Cheers man. Have a good one. ;)
There's a learning curve with Tablets, learning to watch the screen while you use your hand without looking at it and getting used to using pressure sensitivity its is own challenge. I suggest starting with a small affordable version. Also my favorite thing lately is using the Apple Pencil with my Ipad pro, its a much more natural experience than using a tablet.
It will be awhile until i get to it, but ill be sure to video the process. I need to figure out how I'm going to make it work, id love it if the momentary switch could trigger the opposite of whatever the slider switch is set to, but i have a feeling it wont be so easy.
This line of pedals had some unity volume issues that viewers were reporting, i even found the issue on a few of the pedals i covered. Other than that the sounds they produce are all subjective.
@@60CycleHumcast I was trying to work out a simple way of doing it and this is what I came up with. I didn't realise you did. I look forward to seeing some of this in your vids. I don't play guitar but I use them for sound design and Noise Wall live and in my studio, as well as selling a few of my own devices. I'd love to see what you've modded. Did you do a video on the Prophet?
Great demo of one of my fave efx - that ramp mod is smart.
That ramped switch would be dope on a footswitch. Where you at tc!?!
Can’t wait for you to mod it and tell us all about it ❤
I got the Vibraclone recently. Still trying to find my favorite settings. Really cool.
The start sounds quite SoundGarden-like, getting vibes of Black Hole Sun! I believe they used a flanger instead though.
H&K Rotosphere
For the actual recorded version of Black Hole Sun, Soundgarden used a real Leslie cabinet.
Thanks man, I love when you do this TC Line. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't know the extra little weird stuff these pedals do. Nobody else really highlights that. Thanks!
Sounds boss Ryan. I like it. TC are quality.
That guitar is hot dude! Cool garage rock vibes.
wow the epiphone SL looks so different
heath lmfao
would love to see you mod this and do another demo!
Sounds cool with both drive pedals on.
Reminds of the Way Huge Blue Hippo. Without the Depth knob.
Love your shirt hahaha
It seems to be a BEHRINGER RM600 Rotary Machine - with two knobs and two sockets removed....
Why?
The owner of Behringer also owns TC Electronics I heard.
Lo-fi goodness!
I have the TC Electronic Choka Tremolo Effects Pedal. Does it makes sense getting this pedal also?
Always love your videos and your taste in tone. Have you tried modding this pedal yet?
Cool video
6-7 mins. Reminds me of Elton John’s “All the Girls Love Alice”.
is this the signal order? Vibraclone ->> Pilot --> Tape?
Hi ! Have you finally mod it ? :)
Is this based on the old Fender Vibratone? I've been begging Catalinbread and Wampler to make a Vibratone pedal for YEARS. Welp, TC beat them to it. Shoulda listened to me.
"Trumolo" is that how its said? With the accent on the olo.
Hi. Is this pedal more similar to the Uni Vibe or the Leslie ? Thanks
It emulates the Fender Vibratone, which is a Leslie.

I do have a baritone! I actually was trying to come up with a baritone jam for the intro of this video but it wasn't working out.

its possible, i never opened it up but i did something similar with the prophet delay.

Is this the Pink Floyd/Hendrix effect I want? Cant tell with this playing sorry (no offence)

Nice one man. Keep on it. Kudos on being able to make a living at it. Is right. ;)
So weird that this pedal doesn’t have a depth or intensity knob... that would make it complete, imo...
That's the drive knob dude
jaja ste men🤡
I'm waiting to see what has become of the Epiphone SL.
yeah you are!
I wish this had a depth control. The chorale is to slow, the tremolo has to much depth
Ryan, your switch mod idea would make this pedal so much more versatile. Maybe you could demo how to do that!?
It will be awhile until i get to it, but ill be sure to video the process. I need to figure out how I'm going to make it work, id love it if the momentary switch could trigger the opposite of whatever the slider switch is set to, but i have a feeling it wont be so easy.
I'm sure you'll figure it out! If not just throw the pedal off a bridge to test how much abuse it can take.
sunlounger29 I bet it would survive, lol
what guitar is that in the intro?

Rather then 'Tra-mellow' it is pronounced 'Trem-a-low'.
Rather than "then," you use the word 'than' when providing your comparison.
This pedal has 2 reviews on Sweetwater and they're both bad. So I came here.
This line of pedals had some unity volume issues that viewers were reporting, i even found the issue on a few of the pedals i covered. Other than that the sounds they produce are all subjective.
For the love of god do that mod
But why momentary? Should be a fast/slow latching switch IMHO.
thats actually a good point. maybe i should bypass the included switch completely for a latching switch.
