I lost my son a week before christmas, we buried him on my wedding anniversary. Friends texted saying "Call me if you need anything" ... don't do that to someone who is mourning. BE THERE for them, show up and BE WITH THEM. That's all we need when we're hurting.
Thank you for sharing this. I really appreciate it. I’m seeing Geddy in Toronto on Thursday at Massey Hall for the last stop on his book tour. I can’t wait. As far as Zeppelin go they are all really nice guys and down to earth. Funny enough, I just finished listening to Roberts audiobook called “A Life”. It was wonderful and I learned a lot about him. One things for sure….he’s a gentleman and an all around good guy. He lost his son in 1977 at age 5 and his best mate Bonham in 1980 so he knows the emotions of loss and from that profound loss it’s made him a better person with less ego then he had in Zeppelin. Cheers ✌️
Nice. Geddy said during the interview that Massey Hall is in his top 3 venues to play, along with the Los Angeles Forum and London's Hammersmith Odeon.
This makes me sad. 1. I have been a major Rush fan for 42 years. 2. I am also a major lover of music. Rock first and second classical music. I was blessed to have older brothers and able to start my music journey with The Doobie Brothers and Peter Frampton. Those are the first 2 experiences I remember when I was under 10 but then so many more and then one day I was with my friend Johnny and he played a cassette...Tom Sawyer. No words could possibly exrpess what I felt. I conviced him to sell it to me for $2 and I proceeded to play it over and over and over.... those of you who fell in love with them immediately can understand. No words can describe. I was only 12 but I was in love.
i would.ve loved to meet robert plant and geddy lee in morrocco 1998 and meet jimmy page robert plant alex lifeson geddy lee july 2 1998 toronto the ultimate cosmogonic dream to come true and i have met jimmy john paul and geddy
I hope it was. It was a very loose interview with some spontaneous moments. I would love to hear other stories and banter between Geddy and other interviewers, especially the one with Alex.
Jack Black is GOATED dude. But if he’s annoying to you, so be it. Marinate in his GOATEDNESS m.ua-cam.com/video/OBF17olqeOU/v-deo.html&pp=ygUaamF4ayBibGFjayBzcGlyaXQgb2YgcmFkaW8%3D
He is annoying. He jumped up on the stage during their R30 tour at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater and acted like an imbecile on the stage. Complete moron.
Of course Robert and Geddy hit it off. So glad that Robert insisted that you go to the show and get your lives back on track. Great story. 🙏😍👏😊
One of the nicest guys to ever live saying Robert plant is that cool pretty much seals it for me. Lol
Jack just sounded like a Chris Farley. " hey remember that time you met Robert Plant" . That was awesome.
Looks like him too.
He just needs to pull his hair and jerk about saying, "Stupid, stupid, stupid!"
Beautiful story.
Thanks for sharing a story of my favorite singer RP and his heart.💙🪶

I'm sorry for your loss.
WOW! Four of the my faves at the same place. Such a great story.
What a great story of my 2 favorite bands (Led Zeppelin & Rush)
Just beautiful!
Great story so glad to hear about people supporting each other, we all go thru dark times , we all need each other .

“Just go to them.” ❤️

Great story. I can imagine how good that must've felt to score that tape so young.
In the Mighty Arms of Atlas! 🤘

So cool!
Such a great story about legends and these are the comments so far??? 🫤
Based on the poor quality video you would never guess that Geddy is 16 years older than Jack
Why the he'll wasn't this book tour filmed properly by Geddys team?!!
I hope it was. It was a very loose interview with some spontaneous moments. I would love to hear other stories and banter between Geddy and other interviewers, especially the one with Alex.
Why are they trying to sit on those tiny bar stools when there are two big comfy chairs right behind them?
They moved around the stage to keep it interesting. LOL.
The true question is why aren't there any washing machines on that stage 😉
I wish there was some decent sound/footage of these events. Thanks anyway😊
Agreed. The acoustics make it difficult to figure out what they’re saying.
"JIMBO !!! MTA 2023 !!! ZYC !!! "
Jack looks like a portrait of health.
Super cool that Plant knew who Geddy was - I don’t know why I assume he wouldn’t but still.
That was the cool part for me too. Geddy seeing him by chance and Plant initiating an invitation to him and Alex.
Rush may not be rock royalty like Zeppelin, but they're definitely rock nobility.
My god, is that Jack Black?
LOL. He let it all hang out for the interview.
Maybe he needs to do an action movie and get into shape.
I guess hes eating too many applepan burgers and pies.😂
And why ask a question we’ve all heard the answer to already
Or that some people have not heard. Don't over think it, just enjoy.
Because it's a nice story and lesson worth repeating.
Wow jack black has let himself go.. get to a gym..
He really has and I totally agree.
Ticket prices were about $100 just to hear someone talk. Seems a little much😂
Maybe. But still a good time for us Rush nerds.
what the hell happened to Jack Black? who did he have to eat to get this job?
I could have done a way better interview.
Wow great story 2 of the finest people in r & r
Great story is lost in these comments asking about Jacks physical condition 😞
Jack Black needs to get off the stage. He's extremely annoying

I diesagree - he loves music and I like how he brought that really nice story in the conversation. Don't see what's annoying about that.
