I love that Lucifer sings the same part as Varian! They have the same voice actor! And Vaggie that of Cassandra and Charlie that of Rapunzel! This AMV is perfect!
this actually fits a lot better than I thought. for a mere second I was confused on why it was lucifer then it clicked for me. of course they have the same VA, I was so used to the villains playing Varian's part and I loved that this time, it played from a heroes and a fallen angel's perspective! Charlie playing as the queen fit well because it matched the scene, plus Charlie and Rapunzel both have a similar singing voice. Of course Vaggie would fit Cassandra's brave and leadership role to take on the fight, I also love the detail for Flynn being Angel Dust and the king as husk. you did an absolutely outstanding job! considering I also do amv videos as well, I love those who also take specific scenes and match it perfectly with the songs with specific details in mind. hope you check out some of mine.
Basically what happened is that Varian used a serum to temporarily grow his pet raccoon to stage an attack in Corona as a distraction so he could kidnap the queen to use as bait to lure Rapunzel to him to use the power of her hair to save his dad encased in amber. The king is the one that rounded up the citizens of Corona to stage an attack in Varians village so he and Rapunzel could rescue the queen but Varian had prepared a robot army knowing they'd come to fight him. Thats where the song comes in As for what led up to this? Long story short: Black rocks have destroyed varians home and Rapunzel hasn't solved the problem yet and the king is covering it up. A storm comes to corona and meanwhile Varian tries to solve the rock problem but an accident causes Varian's dad to be stuck in an amber substance that's encasing him. Varian tries to beg Rapunzel for help but the storm is a huge problem in corona so Rapunzel can't help and is forced to just let Varian be dragged away despite him pleading for help. Varian returns home and his dad is completely encased. Masked men are sent by the king to break into Varians home and steal a scroll to cover up the truth Varian tricks Rapunzel into helping him steal the sundrop flower to save his dad but its considered an act of treason so by stealing the flower the whole kingdom is against him and he has no one to rely on. When the flower fails he realizes the power is within Rapunzel's hair leading to the finale and the song.
