I think you have a very good personality, because you share your know-how with others. So for exemple I can learn. Not many of DJ's doing this selflessly. And for us it's free. Thank you.
Ayy thanks for this. I noticed after a few years of not being happy with my production (after djing for a couple years after that) that looking at waveforms in DJ software gave me this whole other perspective into track construction that I had been missing the mark on for a long time. Particularly how DJ software uses Hi/mid/low colour spectrum so you always get used to what different transients look like for different instruments. I was bashing my head against a wall trying to understand what I was doing wrong with production for a long time and it defeated me. Finally it seems like I have some steps leading in the right direction. Cheers!
@@reorderdj Great! Getting to structuring my track as early has possible has helped me finish more tracks for sure. Some things I'd love to see your take on: 1) drop arrangement, 2) sound selection for layers, 3) your start to finish workflow for producing a song - I'm sure it depends on the song, but I'm curious if there are common themes about how you structure your workflow in order to not only create a great song, but finish it without getting stuck fiddling with certain parts for too long.
This helped a bunch. I have tons of melodies, but constructing the track and balancing basses are my weaknesses. I do finish tracks now and then, but it's not too fast...
This was great. I always get stuck with this exact thing, so now I have a new way to try construction. Most people don't do trance tutorials, so most excellent, thank you!
I've always struggled a lot with figuring out how I want to structure my projects, and thus I rarely finish them. This method of structuring is genuinely really helpful. Maybe I'll finally get something done for once. 😂 Thanks a bunch! Also, absolute banger track btw 💖
Wooah. Ok hear me out. I'm an Avid fan of hair raising Trance music. Everything you just explained is exactly as i do it 👀 I'm working on a track as we speak, and it gives me chills every time i replay it to add a new section
Some time ago I back to trance music production and discussed with Nitrous Oxide How to aproach the commencement of studio works. I choosen the blank project everytime basing only on my personal feeling. However this trick is generally great and easy to adopt :-) Generally - construction is always nearly the same :-) Nevertheless on the end there is always the same - trance music :-) Great movie :-) Regards to everyone :-) Cheers :-)
Just love how you’re sitting there by the potted plants 🪴 on your windowsill making trance ! Awesome and very educational, dear friend 💓*💓*💓*💓 Have a great day TGIF 😻❤️🌹
@@reorderdj thats awesome that you replied :D ! id like to know how to prepare breaks before a drop :D i mean to do it more emotional and the crowd loose their minds hehe :p
It's a great idea with start the kick construct, couse when i still wanted doing similar track like the pro one was never gonna happen but too many times listening this track during the my own one ;) Thanks
Amazing tutorial... I've question for you. When you do a remix (Fiji for example) How do you get the original sounds? For example, the voice, or the sound from the VST... Many thanks Master!!!!
i have been wondering the song gunshots, by gareth emery of armin mixed version, in the intro part how many layers? i mean it has the pad lead acid shakers kick and bass those stuffs, how they are layered? also, the main drop of that track, there is a vocal chop-liked sound, how that sound is made? this one ua-cam.com/video/04e72c0e__I/v-deo.html
Amazing what you said … take a track and made it exacly same way. Thats how trance died … cos that there is No such thing like construction cos its all copy paste … old asot cd compilations , all trance Classic tracks got that … now what they do its like right away forgoten
WHY PROTOOLS? 🙄i use Fl Studio since 15 years old, now i have 30 and really i want become a good producer and Dj and be someone recognized at least in my country.

Sounds like a plan;)
@@reorderdj After watching this video It really helped me build a music track in 4 hours that I been trying and couldn't put together since 2006.
Fantastic!

Thank you for watching;) if a label asks you to do a remix they usually give you a remix packs with all you may need ;)
How do I take a track that was already made by someone else? Is there a website where I can pay for it?
which software are you using?
I use Ableton
It's hilarious, I've been DJing for 15+ years, but to this day when I sit down in the studio, I STILL have these issues 🤦🏼♂️
I get excited I have a music mind and I'm a musician as well but whenever I wana compose trance and feel wana do it I see these things I quit

Would have been nice to see a summary of the various parts of the structure .. hard to follow along without that.

Construction of a song: the sketch of the beats; what a crap.
