Many doctors in north india are earning big bucks.. In states like bihar.. They just practice for 1 week per month and advertise themselves as bade Wale doc sahab from Delhi blah blah developed states... People book appointment.. The fee is 700 to 800.. And he sees 70 to 80 patient per day for 1 week.. Conduct procedures, surgeries and charge a good amount.. They prescribe medicines which will be only available in their hospital.. They are earning close to crore per month..

Sir, I have two options available with me - geriatric medicine from aiims-r v/s nuclear medicine from pgi Chandigarh. Though geriatrics is hectic its clinical. Nuclear Medicine is not that hectic with great work life balance but i am sure how much patient interaction and about of future of nuclear medicine with advent of AI. can you please share your thoughts on this jeopardy of mine?
