- The Puyallup Tribe has expanded its portfolio with the purchase of over two acres of land on Tacoma’s Ruston Way waterfront.
The land holds the Ram Restaurant & Brewery, but the land purchase doesn’t mean the popular restaurant is going anywhere.
The Tribe says it plans on leasing the restaurant back to the previous owner. www.king5.com/...
This is what can happen when you stop suppressing people and start supporting them. The Puyallup tribe should be very proud of what they have done.
@@DPoner You obviously weren't around in the years leading up to the Emerald Queen when it was just a river boat. Or when Slade Gordon tried to take away their fishing rights.
Or when they first signed the gambling pact with the state. You obviously weren't around during the times when being a Puyallup Tribe member was looked at with disdain and prejudice.
It was the profits from gambling that allowed the tribe to do so much better. There was even an attempt to take that away from them.
When I first moved out here in 1972 all I heard was f'n Indians this and f'n Indians that and it mostly had to do with the Bolt decision. Look it up so you may understand a bit of history.
Proud of cultivating addiction for profit is not the great spirit
@@GODZGANGSTA If you or someone else has an addiction problem that is on that person.
@@DPoner The thing is the history of screwing with the Puyallup tribe is recent history not ancient history. Just because history is ripe with people shitting on each other doesn't make it right or excuse it. I could really care less if you are white yellow black or brown or even if you were a green blooded Vulcan. Unless you live in Puyallup and are old enough to have seen the things I have you have no knowledge of their situation.
Since you brought up history, historically it was the white race that took the native americans land and place them on reservations, they felt were worthless.
@@mgreg8134 we all reap what we sow that's why the native people now suffer mightily at the hand of addiction. Tempting others is not spiritual and neither is selling it. Judgement is coming.
Kinda sad they had to buy their own land back :(
Lol omg stfu they make 20 million a month on slot machines
How lovely for the Native to be the one in that position! Divine justice.
Thank you tribe peace be with you tribal members
This is awesome!
Good story 👍
The Tribe now owns Tacoma
As they should!
Ur right the city of tacoma is a full 2 acres
Awsome
Sweet
need more humans working together forget the lizard ppl
Jesus gonna just repo the whole earth back to Himself in a second
Hopefully they get a little class not build big red ugly monstrosity that look like big old red rabbit hutches like they did off the freeway
HOPE THEY DON'T ALLOW THE DRUG DEALERS,USER'S AND THE REST OF THE STREET PEOPLE TO HANG OUT IN AND AROUND THE NEW DIGGS LIKE THEY DO THE CASINO 😔
Indian land will return to them. I don't believe in the sovereignty agreement with the tribes. They don't have to abide by alot of the laws because they are under tribal which I think is OUTRAGEOUS
