Agree, this is the best HKF. I pretty much like everything about it for a daily "beater" to use a cliche term. The only two things I would change: rectangular simple hands, decrease the lug to lug. Next watch in "affordable": Seiko SPB313-317/near water, Doxa Sub300 Carbon Whitepearl/beach, Citizen BN0220 or other color. Also, Chisholm, where did you get your gold necklace/pendant, looking for a good one myself. thnx
I bought this watch based on this review and directly from Chisholm Hunter in Nottingham. Love this watch, although after a month of wearing this I finally realised that the legibility of the watch is its biggest drawback, especially the hands! The long pointy hands have a dark border which make a good portion of it blend with the dial which makes both hands appear shorter than they are. I still spend time admiring he watch on my wrist all the time though, but can't deny having slight buyers remorse if I'm being completely honest. I still think it's the best titanium watch for the money and is my current everyday watch.
They almost had me with this one. I like everything about the watch except the dimmer numerals. And I, too, am coming from a Khaki Field Mechanical as my everyday watch.
Great vid, great location. I never was very interested in Hamilton Watches, but this model I think I could have fun with. And I think that the leatherstrap looks really good.
Hey Chisholm! Love your content buddy. Mainly the way you put the watch into an adventure. As a personal comment, I would like to see maybe a few scenes putting the watch into a hard work, such as pitching the tent, cooking at the camp, preparing the backpack, etc. The content is awesome anyway!
I don‘t know how you do it but everytime I‘m researching a watch, you guys are making a video about it! (I was literally looking at it yesterday) I have the KFM right now as well and was eyeing the automatic as well! Great video as always.
Almost perfect. I know Hamilton Khakis never come in 40mm so I'll just have to live with 38mm which is fine. But no date window is kinda tough for me...
I LOVE that it’s no date and I dig the orange accents. I have 5 khakis already, Quartz and mechanical, but this might have to make its way next to the others.
mate i love this watch, i think the smaller crown is a better look than the stainless steel one and the lug to lug is a wee bit smaller and i think the 38mm will be a better fit on a smaller wrist, ps. what size wrist are you?
Awesome video!!! Titanium is lighter, but do you prefer the 38mm rather 42 for this khaki field? Is 42 too big for this specific watch in your opinion? For my wrist I have the impression that the perfect case would be 40mm. The 38 too small and 42 too large.
The thing that made me give up on its purchase was the use of type two titanium, which is not very resistant to scratches caused by accidental impacts.
There are some very serious design “influences” here from the Oris Big Crown, the textures on the face and the numerals are very very similar. It’s a good look.
I have an original eta 2824-2 from 2006 on a 42mm case on a steel bracelet. H70515137. I bought it new and was the one that initiated this horology watch hobby. All I knew was that I wanted a Swiss made automatic field watch and Hamilton was the brand to get.
The stainless steel auto date version has better proportioned hands which reach to the minute track. Plus it’s less expensive by an amount which gets another good-ish watch.
The watch is now almost perfect. But I miss the date like on the steel version. Harrison, I got a question for you: how mature is it to talk in every video about how matured you are?
I have the stainless steel version on a bracelet which costs over £300 less than this. Not sure I'd pay that much extra for the titanium version. That aside I enjoy your content 👍
Tip to get your review out there: Put the name of the watch in the description. It does not pop up when i google hammilton khaki 38mm titanium. U have the best review of it.
Rolex 36mm Explorer or OP, take the watch up Ben Nevis, but contrast the watch's all-round versatility by visiting a country pub, restaurant ect. it's no doubt already been done, just thinking off the top of my head.
The hands look shorter because they're black, but there's a thin point at the end of them that each extend to their respective hour and minute numerals.
Lot of confusion about that! 50m means its probably safe to swim wearing it, but snorkelling is out. Myself, I wouldn't wear a 50m in the water at all.
This is not an honest review, this is a commercial. I agree this watch looks amazing, but it sure has it's points that could use an upgrade (lume, inner anti reflective coating) and saying that titanium is harder and more durable then steel but not saying it's only grade 2 which scratches way more easily than stainless steel, which actually makes it less durable,... Great video, but thumbs down as a review
As long as they haven't solved the reflections problem with the crystal I won't buy it. You cannot see the dial when it's sunny outside and it gives the whole watch a cheap look. Get a proper non reflective coating inside and outside of the sapphire glass and we have a deal!
You lost me when you said you could take the watch down 100m underwater. That's not how that measurement works! Learning your lack of watch knowledge totally negates everything you have to say.
What watch and location should we do the next Chisholm Hunter Special?!
Any omega in the Faroe Islands pretty please🥰

Moonswatch on the moon😏
It’s amazing how well you detailed that watch way out in the mountains. Your a true professional. I really love your videos. Keep up the great work
Thanks James, appreciate that!
Great scenic views to discuss the Hamilton. Well done chaps. 👍🏻
Thanks bud!

Love the look and feel of titanium; I 've enjoyed it for years. Loved seeing your Dolomite adventure as well!
Cheers David!
One of the best videos, I have seen, love the khaki field 38!! Congrats
Thank you!!
They almost had me with this one. I like everything about the watch except the dimmer numerals. And I, too, am coming from a Khaki Field Mechanical as my everyday watch.
Great vid, great location.

Thanks mate appreciate the feedback. In the next one we will try and incorporate this!
Great video! I just bought the khaki field mechanical last week and since visiting the dolomites this summer I knew I had to own it!
I don‘t know how you do it but everytime I‘m researching a watch, you guys are making a video about it! (I was literally looking at it yesterday)

Great video as always.
Great choice and thank you!
I like this episode with outdoor filing!!
The mountain view is extraordinary! and I love Hamilton watch!
Just seen this watch at my AD and it is SUPER NICE!!
Another cracking vid for a cracking watch. Got mine from Chisholm Hunter a few months ago!
Next location? Glasgow. Oh, you want a trip away??!!
It would be rude not to do one in Glasgow! Thanks mate.
Almost perfect. I know Hamilton Khakis never come in 40mm so I'll just have to live with 38mm which is fine. But no date window is kinda tough for me...
Love the level up in video production! And the watch ain’t bad either 😉👏
Thanks mate!
So Hamilton weren't Content with a Studio Review it's Above & Beyond to the Dolomitic Alps "... Bravo
I LOVE that it’s no date and I dig the orange accents. I have 5 khakis already, Quartz and mechanical, but this might have to make its way next to the others.

In my opinion this is Hamilton best field watch hands down.
The drone shots are absolutely unreal, great work!! Also, dope watch!
Thanks mate!

Amazing video glad to see something different where the watch should be in that environment instead of a basic studio room 🤣🤩 welldone! 👍
Thanks mate!
Is the leather strap waterproof? I saw it being submerged in water in your video.
I've a critical decision to make, could only do one. Either the Hamilton or the trek in the Dolomites.
That 100 water resistance tho. 😍
Excellent video and cool watch. Thanks
Hi, how does the 38mm Titanium compare to the 38mm Murph in terms of wearibility, lug shape, “wrist hugging”? 😀
I have fairly slim wrists. 38mm field wears just fine and curves around the top of the wrist well, particularly on a NATO strap.
The thing that made me give up on its purchase was the use of type two titanium, which is not very resistant to scratches caused by accidental impacts.
Very nice video Harrison. Well done!
Cheers Jim!
What model is this?
Beautiful review
Thank you! Cheers!

You may not take your SMP diving haha, but you definitely took a field watch through the trenches!
I have an original eta 2824-2 from 2006 on a 42mm case on a steel bracelet. H70515137. I bought it new and was the one that initiated this horology watch hobby. All I knew was that I wanted a Swiss made automatic field watch and Hamilton was the brand to get.
I don't know if your in the Swatch company like Hamilton and so is eta and eta makes the movement just for Hamilton its a inhouse movement.
Great video! If you were to get into salt water for swimming, would you need to change out the band on this model?
I don't think so. Just rinse it in fresh water after!
The stainless steel auto date version has better proportioned hands which reach to the minute track. Plus it’s less expensive by an amount which gets another good-ish watch.
wow.... not the watch, but your shots and the location
Great video! How big is your wrist?
I got It...a beauty..but the legibility in many conditions of light Is very bad.
If given the choice between this or the murph, which one will you pick?
This, definitely suits my lifestyle more!
hope you can review the 42mm hamilton khaki field watch too. nice vid
Titanium is lighter, but I don't think it's harder or more durable than steel.
The watch is now almost perfect. But I miss the date like on the steel version. Harrison, I got a question for you: how mature is it to talk in every video about how matured you are?
When i have fully matured i will let you know lol.
Nice video - very Adrian Barker-ish
The second this comes out in 41/42 I’m all over it…
hey, does it have a phantom date position or it is a proper no date movement?
I have the stainless steel version on a bracelet which costs over £300 less than this. Not sure I'd pay that much extra for the titanium version. That aside I enjoy your content 👍
Beautiful video! 👏👏
Did you turn this one into your daily wearer or did you go back to the Khaki Field (non-titanium)?
Does this have anti-reflecting coating on the cyrstal??
Tip to get your review out there: Put the name of the watch in the description. It does not pop up when i google hammilton khaki 38mm titanium. U have the best review of it.
Would like to ask one thing only, may I know the lume of this? Does it last long over night?
Don't mention the lume...! It's the one weak point.
Excellent content. Bravo
Thanks John!
why is the automatic "better technically"? does Hamiliton make field titanium manual wind, if not why not?
Nice but I prefer the Swiss Watch Company Bunker or the Christopher Ward C65 Sandhurst
Best video 👍🏻👏🏻
Rolex 36mm Explorer or OP, take the watch up Ben Nevis, but contrast the watch's all-round versatility by visiting a country pub, restaurant ect. it's no doubt already been done, just thinking off the top of my head.
Great idea! Thanks mate.
i love having to wind my Hamilton mechanical every day.
I have been looking at this model, but there’s an off design choice I just noticed: the hands are unexplainably short!
The hands look shorter because they're black, but there's a thin point at the end of them that each extend to their respective hour and minute numerals.
I own this watch. I love this watch. The lume is terrible. ✌🏼
you didnt research this enough. you didn't even mention the nivachron balance added to the movement.
You do know that 100m water resistance doesn't mean you can go 100m deep right 😉
Lot of confusion about that!
You’d think for a guy who has a watch channel, that he’d know what 100m water resistance means 😂
Doesnt this movement contain plastic parts? 😢
Titanium is softer than steel
That's a "Murph" case blank!!!
I legitimately cannot find the exact color that he was showcasing
compare this interesting dial and VFM compared to say the Tudor Ranger
5:44 that’s not how water resistance works.
As long as they haven't solved the reflections problem with the crystal I won't buy it. You cannot see the dial when it's sunny outside and it gives the whole watch a cheap look. Get a proper non reflective coating inside and outside of the sapphire glass and we have a deal!
According to Hamilton, this watch also has anti-magnetic
Really with i liked the dial. But I do not
You lost me when you said you could take the watch down 100m underwater. That's not how that measurement works! Learning your lack of watch knowledge totally negates everything you have to say.
Automatic watches are mechanical, why do you not know that?
I mean manual wind watches.
😂 wow
100 meters of water resistance really just means that you can take it for a swim. DON'T GO SCUBA DIVING WITH IT.
Hit the dislike button as soon as you said I've never been 100meters down! #sellout
How does that make me a sell out 😂 It just makes me honest.
