Don't know if it was intentional by the developers to make LK -> SA1 do more damage than LK -> Hayate -> SA1, but it's cool because the first combo is more of a risk
Granted it's only 4 more damage, but still pretty cool

Do you feel that Yaz was crouch teching after the held f+HK? I feel like it's technically a good option select for Chun. If Makoto throws, it's teched. If Makoto tries to command grab, the cr.lp beats it out. If Makoto does a moce you can low parry with, you get the low parry + cr.lp.
It feels like the Makoto player was anticipating that option and either bated into SA1, or parried into lk > SA1. The first time gave him the knowledge. All subsequent times he used that knowledge against Yaz.
