- It came time to clean my freezer above my refrigerator when I realized what a mess I had let it become. There is nothing special to it and it is not hard. It just needed a good scrubbing like the refrigerator. With a little care and attention you freezer can be sparkling clean in no time.

I figured it would be a pretty simple process but wanted to check out tips just in case. I live in an apartment and haven't turned off the fridge to do a deep clean or cleaned the freezer since I moved in so it's time, it doesn't really look dirty but I've noticed the freezer taste permeating my food a lot faster recently. Now I just need to break through the social anxiety of asking a neighbour if I can store my food in their fridge for the day 😅
If you have coolers, you can use those in a pinch. Or load your bath tub with ice and go quickly. (please don't ask how I know that works. LOL.) Thank You for watching.

We never had an ice maker and I tried to clean it with 409... While it was on... Thanks for the video, I'll clean it really good with just soap and hot water now 🤦♀️

Oh gosh, I haven't cleaned my freezer for such a long time. Now that I have time to deep clean everything. The freezer is on my to do/complete list. I don't have an extra freezer but I should be okay I will put everything in my kitchen sink in the mean time while cleaning.

Thank you for the helpful tip! I didn't have to put the frozen food in the sink. I just put the food on my kitchen table. I also cleaned the back of the fridge (people forget to clean the back of the fridge). It can accumulate a lot of dust. I used the vaccume cleaner hose and a swifter duster to get the durst off.
