You just made my day. I just ordered a combo dress sure fit kit. I am a quilter, home dec, and purse sewist. I made three tops that didn't fit. I was ready to give up on garment sewing until I stumbled on to Surefit designs. I am looking forward to getting my kit and making my own clothes (that fit). I was amazed by your clothes and how nice they looked. I saw them on you in some of the picture gallery photos on the surefit site. You looked very nice in every one of them. Your happy, upbeat personality if infectious and I enjoyed the presentation. Julie
I searched our your channel so I could watch this video again. You are so inspiring with your garment sewing and I love your organizational skills! It's time to get back to Sure Fit Designs for me again and now I'm inspired and grateful for this video.
Love your outfits. So cute. Suggestion: You should try Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers on HSN. They're thin, velvet hangers and your clothes don't fall off. Love your vlogs. You are so funny. You and Glenda the Sure Fit Designs Lady influenced me to get the Janome coverstitch machine. Keep making those videos and keep sewing!
I love to see what you’ve done with SFD! I have the system and just began using it. Would love to see how you get from your sloper to the various finished types you have. How you decide on your neck curves etc.
Hi joy, I now have the Sfd dress kit. Can you do a sew along or describe the procedure how to cut and sew a top with princess seams? I seem to have much of the same torso dimensions. Appreciate it.
17.30 haha your top for your favouriet violet (lilac) pants ... Joy for your fans this will be "Joy travelling pants" ... like sisterhood of traveling pants" 2005 film hahaha. I love your prints ...I think if you ever go to Italian shops fabrics you will yell like me " I died and go to heaven ".

Endless possibility .
Please do a video to show a fba .i have yet to figure it out. I always end up with extra fabric in below the adjustment. Have you done a three piece sleeve
When you do an FBA, you WILL end up with the fabric longer in the front than it was before the FBA. You need the extra fabric to go over the "humps". Following is a link to a video I found showing FBA and SBA. I did not watch the whole video, but it appears to be very good. Hope it helps. With Surefit Designs, your actual size bust dart is built into the pattern when you draw it. ua-cam.com/video/fuaZZRiM-n4/v-deo.html
Yes, you do have to revise your pattern but you trace the master and then make your changes. You don't have to redraw the master unless your measurements change.
buy hold and hang company hangers i buy them years ago they are also magnetic so they keep clothing close in wardrobe and are anty sleeper they have men sizes for suits and trousers children jacket to shirts tops and snaps for skirt so on one hanger you can keep all outfit b lose jacket suit trousers and jewelery it's save you time when design what to wear

Joy, do you have to draw out your patterns each time you make a new design? If so is that very time consuming?

so beautiful outfits,
if you enjoy sewing clothes so much, do you sew clothing for others?
I think if I purchase this set from sur fit désigne i will not stop sewing i watched all them videos
Awesome
What type of paper do you use to make your patterns? You have inspired. It has been a long time since I made clothing.
I use the doctor table paper because I found a case of it in my MIL's attic after she died. I have also used the SFD Vellum.
Joy why are your backs shorter than the front ?
It’s an adjustment for swayback.

Put a few dabs of hot glue or a few rubber bands on your hangers and you won't have to pick up your shirts so much.
