Great video I have a 317 as well and will be doing the carburetor this spring I do have two question I-have a rototiller on mine and it doesn't dig into the mud even when wet do I need to install the rear tire weight's when using this attachment. My PTO isn working I replaced the switch but every time I try to engage it the engine wants to dye on me I did set the gap on the PTO itself still having issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated .
I have this exact 317, my RPMs do not kick in under load until the last second. by then my engine is bogged down to stalling. This is on the snowblower attachment. I believe this is a governor problem. Can you show how to adjust the Governor on a 317 kohler twin carburetor?
I have enjoyed your JD tutorials. Down to earth and explained in a way that makes a lot of sense. I do hope you have more coming.
Thank you. I will be adding more videos as time permits. Comments like yours gives me incentive to continue.
Thanks for all the info

Does the engine seem to operate OK when it is not under a load.
