  • Fiji’s new Prime Minister says he’d like to see his country and Australia be equal partners in the Pacific and development. Sitiveni Rabuka was sworn in as Prime Minister after last month’s election saw a coalition of parties able to form government, ending Frank Bainimarama’s 16 years of leadership. It's not the first time he’s held the job - he was elected in 1992 after leading two military coups five years earlier. The ABC's Lice Movono sat down with Mr Rabuka for an exclusive interview.
