I'm shocked!
One of the very few bands nowadays that doesn't sound completely different when comparing the studio and the live version, even though it's actually live... as in... sung and played on stage that very moment....

So was I. This playlist is the first time I've ever watched POTF live. Ever. Before I was torn between to watch or not to watch, only because Marko's voice always sounds so magical I couldn't help believing there were more sound effects than there actually are on the studio songs. But wow.
More than that, sometimes their live performances completely outclass their studio recordings, because of all these quirks and improvs that the band adds during the live session. For me it's absolutely unbelievable.
You need to listen to Dream Theater, they sound even better live

The guys behind Marko are just as equally mind blowing. The melody they create is not of this world. Just my 2 cents, everybody only compliments Marko, well deserved, not doubt. But the others there also deserve equal praise. I mean, Olli and Jani kill it each time.

There was never an actual physical Blu-ray release of the show, but these UA-cam uploads are from the original FullHD masters (which were obviously scaled down quite a bit for the DVD).

90% of money they earn are from the concerts like this. This is the modern reality, music gets pirated anyway, so to rely on track sales only is a sure way to go broke for any artist.
On the other hand people who see this video might get encouraged to visit their concert and musicians will profit much more than from a pathetic income from iTunes Store.
