Got my set two weeks ago. I went with a FailZero FZ 9mm AR9 BCG and AP Ambidextrous Charging Handle. One thing...it doesn’t like some aftermarket mags but Glock 17’s work perfectly.

I have a love-hate relationship with the holidays. Great prices for Black Friday but the time it takes to get Fed Ex, UPS and USPS to get my stuff to me is killer. I keep checking my tracking numbers like a freak. My EPC-9 cannot come fast enough!
It looks like my Atlas R-one nut is able to screwed down onto the upper by hand. I’m not sure if there’s gonna be enough thread left for torquing to 35-45 lbs ft?
Finally got to shoot my EPC-9 build today. I was disappointed to say the least. I locked the bolt back, inserted a full Glock mag, dropped the bolt and chambered a round. So far so good. After I fired the first round is when the issue occurred. First round fired, ejected and then a feed issue. The second round was jammed between the mouth of the chamber and the BCG. After repeated attempts it did the same thing each time. Frustrated I then called Aero and apparently hollow point ammunition is the “culprit”. I was using Speer Gold Dot 124gr JHP +P and Aero said that a PCC should only use ball ammo. Who knew? I didn’t. At my job we utilize the same Speer ammo in our HK MP5…. No issues. Tomorrow I will bring some ball ammo with me and test what he’s saying.
Send your barrel to Rudy at Macon Armory and get the feed cone re-profiled. Or just toss that Aero/BA barrel in the trash and buy one that has a better feed cone from the start.
@@cvdubya5774 Yup… Rudy currently has my barrel and is doing what Aero/BA should’ve done from the start. It’s pathetic and bad business that Aero is doing what they’ve done.
When are you guys gonna offer a fix for the barrel/bolt bounce. I fired mine and after 3 bad malfunctions in 2 mags I’m now scared to run it. Lol. Seriously though😰 all aero parts- velocity 9mm-Pcc trigger- Faxon bcg
just a couple questions. I just got in my EPC-9 Lower in FDE. I plan on purchasing a Complete Upper from Aero in either 7in or 10in. One, do the Aero Complete Uppers for this platform Come with the BCG? and or the Buffer? and Two, Is the EPC-9 LPK specific to this Lower? Or can I use any Normal Mil Spec Parts to build out the Lower Receiver? Thanks a ton. JSR
Their complete uppers do not come with the bcg and any milspec lower parts kit will work but there kits come with a screw to capture the rear takedown pin detent. I also highly recommend using a PCC specific trigger.
I just talked to Macon and he has nearly 100 Aero EPC-9 barrel repairs waiting in his shop. This is obviously a huge issue and is creating a serious backlog for him.
wow that is a nice set and I am happy you got into the AR9 market but PLEASE start producing some M5 uppers and lowers especially pistol uppers...

Fix your barrel feed cone issues! We end users shouldn't have to send our barrels out to Macon Armory to make them feed reliably!
