Luvly jubbly. 👍 Each country has a culture of learning and this will effect the dynamics between teacher and students. For a student to care about what you know, they have to know that you care. It's amusing to hear all this talk about "micro managing" students when in a lot of companies nowadays, the trend is moving away from managing and towards leading.
Speechless , I always told to forbid L1 in my class if I wanna be a pro in teaching. But now you demonstrated a total different aspect to make of having monolingual classes
Unfortunately, in Egypt we are used to teaching English as a subject not a a language The pupils study it just to pass the exam and get full mark not to speak
thank you, Mr.Shady for this helpful videos. I have a question; What qualifications do I need to take a TEFL course? I am not an English teacher, though. thanks!
You can do either our LTTC TEFL course at Britishey Training Centre or a CELTA with Reach Out Academy. I will be teaching a part time CELTA with them in Jan. 2020. You can register if you are interested through my blog: www.shady.blog/products

I can’t agree more. The poor assessment system of English language has a serious washback on the English classes.
The same problem all over the Arab world........⚘⚘⚘⚘

You need to monitor closely and always remind them of why it is important to speak in English.
