- Answers to common questions:
What cans do you use?
I use cans depending on the project. For messing around i would use any can.
For any work i want to last a long time, like work i will sell, i make sure to use trusted quality graffiti brands, so i know the colors wont fade or deteriorate.
If you are inexperienced, use whatever is affordable so you can practice more. The type of tools you use wont make you better. Only practice will.

Your an pleasure to the graffiti scene , you help people like me that ain't that good , to improve themself. Thank you !
Check my other videos to get ideas on how to explore and practice your process. Definitely watch #6 and #7 tutorials. Those can clarify a few basic priciples for u and maybe demystify the whole thing. Click my icon on the left to go to my channel and find my "Reskew Tutorials" playlist to see them all.
Discontinued old version of Krylon. The new Krylons have a fan tip which is not interchangable with other caps.
Def not a lame Q. I suggest leave the idea of getting "ideas" for pieces. Try to focus on being in the moment and letting the process unfold, and let the art come to you as you go along. This will take lots of time to learn, because thousands of puzzle pieces of experience and information have to soak into your mind and body, but once they do, you will have enough of it to flow freely with creativity. For now just keep trying different things, and dont give up! Ive been doing graff 13 yrs!
90 degrees in relation to the wall. Not sure what you are thinking in relation to. Im talking about the spray, it should be directed 90 degrees away from the usual spray angle.
That just takes can control, give yourself time to learn. Its about letting go of the cap at the right moment, soon enough, so you dont have an extra millasecond of spray at the end of the line. Too much paint in one spot is heavy and gravity pulls it down. Watch my tutorial #2 , i cover this issue. For now, you might want to paint the one line, to the corner, and then do a totally different line to give time for that last one to dry before painting from its corner.
bro, really lovin these tutorials man :D honestly i dont know who you dont have more views man. Still, loving the videos
Are u doing a 3D or drop shadow? With drop shadows, u have to get them all at the right angle, so its consistent. Whether or not i can help u, you wil lfigure it out with time. I had a hard time with 3d and shadows for a while. Be determined and also have patience- most importantly. the rest will fall into place. u cant force your learning process, u can only guide it.
you can see it in the video anyway. Nothing confusing about it.
yes!!! you'r active!
Thats great!! no problem!
Hey when I do semi to full on wildstyle, I tend to just fade everything to the middle, rather than put my 3D lines in the same direction. I see a lot of other artists do this too. Whats your take? Is a a substance of a writers style? Even though I have been writing for over 3 years, watching the basics never bores me.
this might sound lame or the wrong question but how do you get ideas on how to create more elaborate pieces? im pretty new to graffiti art and i would love to start painting. any advice or tips? thank you!
great tips and tricks
how do you keep the corners of your letters from dripping? Every time I get to a corner and start a new line the paint get too thick...
Pls put in the desc what cans and what caps/nozzles u use pls :)
Kind of helpful.. thanks bud!
90 degrees is straigth at the wall maybe 45 or 30 degrees?
I just did a simple letter in my black book today....and legit my 3d looks no where near as clean as yours does. it looks like i just surrounded the outline with black. im having a bit of a rough time with angling i suppose? Idk, it just looks off.
42. Try reading the book subway art that has a part in there about drips.
@reskillmows what kind of tip is that in the begining?
@reskillmows yes!
Is that a rusto with a regular cap?
@reskillmows wait... I think your misinterpreting my point. I meant like the way Ewok shades at this video around 2:25 on the final piece (Ewok, seventh day project) ; the lines just fade into themselves rather in one direction
Super helpful
Where'd you get those old school krylons
@reskillmows word bro. Thanks for the insight, keep it fresh! Reskew for teaching champ
How are the lenght and with of that canvas? and what is it made out of? wood?
what kind of spray paint is that?
if you dont mind telling me, how old are you?
what cans you use anyway?
@reskillmows yea, you know what I mean?
Which cap u use?
I use all caps. In this video its NY Fatcap, but it depends on the type of can u r using.
i was weiting for this tnx so much!
sic this helped me alot
SPEK BTC actually is ONE of the people who i noticed made the shadowing on the outlines popular
Yup, in NYC he used it the most.
Whats this guys tag name DRIPS?
thanks
welcome!
Nice my g
Thanks !
What can you use?
Read video description. Thanks :)
Malej Džony spraypaint, you can use that lol
I'd love to see some extensive research to prove your statement, preferably by you.
What's your tag name, or wait you don't have one.....
hell yeah
Yes, some people have the habit of making themselves miserable over anything they can.
He's using high pressure Krylon cans with medium to large tips. Of course its going to be drippy.
Every 3D technigue i've noticed i do the same when i draw on paper with a pencil too ;3
Oldschool krylon!
@EGGSLAMMERHEAD on the seventh day project piece at 2:25
I'm guessing your tag is Toy4life.
i think "ghosty" fills show lazyness, fear " im gonna rush this so i dont get caught", and stingyness with paint, except in certain spots. It says " i dont give a shit about my craft" if u do it all the time. Your work will not stand out from the million other fillins if its not filled in solid. Yeah, they look cool in some instances, but why even waste your time doing ANYthing if u dont make it solid and complete?
What is wrong with drips? Its the wonder of nature at work. Well, people are terrified of being out of control, and when unintentional things happen, the alarm goes off and all hell breaks loose. Hell meaning the pain of not having acceptance.
@MrWarrior737 **Krylon
fuck man i dont get krylon with the tips any more now .. guess i try some RUsto
@reskillmows will do man, good luck with any future videos, ill post a link on any of my videos, probally saying, dont watch me, watch the guy who knows what he's talking about haha
Damn this beat is hot. What song is this?
This is by my boy Dorian Lopez aka Denzity
A writers worst nightmare DRIPS!! Unless intentional.
Still a great video though 👍👍
Thanks. Yes, I said turn the volume up to hear my boys DENZ's music
That's a good friend right there!!!
i love drips
the end of the song scared the fuck out of me lol, but very nice video!
Except geniuses? I add 3D to letters since i was 6-7 years old, and i'm not a genius at all. I find it very easy i can't understand why people couldn't do that
As they say, " takes one to know one". If you cant comprehend how people dont get it, then youre not like them in that way.
i love grimy looking ghost fills....they make throwies have funk....but yes, piecing you should utilize a bit more discipline and fill your shit clean.
Immediately asks you to turn volume up
*Proceeds to play only music*
😅 Alrighttttttttty then
i dont know how but this part i didnt learn from anyone, i just came too me...
OOOHHH COME ON MEN YOU DID A F***** MESS JAJAJA
a lot of drips
"What is wrong with drips?" are you for real? Drips show lack of can control full stop.
klewer psk
Ooo ouch, that is so insulting -_____- zzzzzz
I know coz i am gay. Problem?
Obviously no sense of humor. Anyways a good tutorial & will help a few toys out.
Why r you wasting that paint !!!!
food for thought? common sense is not strong with the viewers of the video then, obviously. Give me my 4 minutes back.
