Hello kuya. I planted roses last year in the summer, I hope it will survive the Chicago winter.

Hello po Ate. Salamat po sa pagbisita! Naku mabubuhay po ang roses ninyo. Mabuti at naitanim na ninyo last, which gives time for the lang to put more roots down. Mainam din po at naka-experience na ng unang winter ang rose ninyo. As the temperature warms up it will now go through that full cycle of growth. Good luck po. Let us know how yours will turn out this year! Bisitahin ko rin po kayo. 👍🏼👍🏼

Hi! Like your experience with your roses, my roses get black spots on leaves as well. I live in a humid area and unfortunately, that rose issue goes with the territory. What I do is just to minimize it. I like to trim and prune it in the spring and then during the height of its growth - usually in the summer (through harvesting more blooms). This promotes more air to circulate through the bushes to keep the humidity low.
