Obviously variants that never appear in the show are excluded, but those aren't accurate to ANYTHING. Toylines are always bigger than the actual cast of the show, so obviously alot of that stuff is just a Toyline creation alone that has no analogue. Unless you are talking variants that actually do show up in the show, at which point yes, the show actively changed to reflect the toys. Like the Transmetals in Beast Wars or the Recolors of characters in stuff like RID 2015 and the UT.
Sorry for being vague (and I decided to double check this because if it turns out I’m wrong I’m gonna look stupid) but for transformers prime, the made the tv show first and thought about not even making toys for it ( I’m get all this from tfwiki and tf the basics) and toy did come out until a year after the show did. I really hope this doesn’t sound like I’m arguing with you, I really just wanted to see what your thoughts on it were. And if both of these sources are wrong I’m just typing for no reason, then I’m deeply sorry.
That’s the same feeling I got when I picked up the TMNT reissue of Raphael. These beast wars reissues are getting crazy expensive. In my country they were charging $10 more for the reissue scorpinok than for Optimus Primal… and the scary thing was it sold like crazy while Optimus primal shelf-warmed.
"Still looks decently cool.....even if it's old" (Looks at my G1 childhood toys and wonders what mine are if not old.....ancient maybe?) :D He's.....he's a cute little bugger. Probably not a purchase though. But eh who knows.
I mean I do like the looks reissue and hopefully it comes to Canada soon instead of a wall of retraxs. Although I’m a bit torn cause this might also look good in show accurate colours which the other characters have done why they skipped on this idk.
This maybe just me but I buy TF figures after watching the movies or during the showing Also would it be cool if Starscream's ghost possessed Terrorsaur but they're both fighting for control for they body. Who would win in a fight Starscream or terrorsaur?
@@PerspectiveEnd No, if it's a show i will buy a figure if i find the characters interesting as the show goes on. If it's a movie I will buy the characters after the movie.
Way too much and my gun is so loose but I love this so much, I missed the reveal so when I saw it in stores my day was made. Robot mode is ok looking with great articulation and beast mode is a very nice statue lol. Terrorsaur wasn't my favorite character but he was an interesting one and fun. Thanks for the review perspectiveend
Man, this is good for being a 1 step, not to say the modern 1 steps are bad, those are aiming for a more kiddy toy with the 1 step gimmick, so I can forgive those since they aren't aiming for a figure, with the price now and days, it would be funny if hasbro revealed a rescue bots (or classic heroes team now and days) terrorsaur and that outsells the reissue
He looks neat but kinda redundant they chose the same deco for the buzz worthy bumblebee repaint of the new kingdom terrisaur there was a couple other versions of him too but they just chose to make the reissue the exact same color of the newer release so if you have one you don't really have any need for the other
$25 for a toy that Hasbro put literally zero R and D into is such a scam. The reason Wei Jiang was able to make their KOs bigger than the original figures, of equivalent quality to the original figures, and still cheaper than the original figures in an era where a transformer didn’t cost you a kidney. All the Beast Wars reissues needed to do for the line to be successful was make back their material cost which they could easily have done at a fraction of the cost. Instead it feels like Hasbro realized this product would be niche so they decided to make every collector who’s willing to give more for the nostalgia factor pay double what a clueless consumer would. I’d love to make some proclamation about how they’ve priced casual shoppers out of the market but with you shortages being what they are there’s a pretty good chance these guys will be the only transformers on the shelf if you get unlucky. When you know your nephew loves transformers and all they have is the $25 rat guy that’s what you’re buying, logic be dammed.
I have bad news for you, Perspective... that isn´t a pterodactyl, it´s a pteranodon. Pterodactyls didn´t have a cone on the back of the head... actually, it´s not a pteranodon either, as those didn´t have teeth... maybe some other less known species...
I'm fairly sure they just didn't know the difference either when making the character, his name is Terrorsaur, which is clearly trying to Evoke Ptero of some type.

The toys where ones like bumblebee and Optimus prime
That’s the same feeling I got when I picked up the TMNT reissue of Raphael. These beast wars reissues are getting crazy expensive. In my country they were charging $10 more for the reissue scorpinok than for Optimus Primal… and the scary thing was it sold like crazy while Optimus primal shelf-warmed.
That is the weirdest thing possible.
Does your country just hate monkeys?
@@PerspectiveEnd I think they just missed your truck does not equal munkey vid.
"Still looks decently cool.....even if it's old"
(Looks at my G1 childhood toys and wonders what mine are if not old.....ancient maybe?) :D
He's.....he's a cute little bugger. Probably not a purchase though. But eh who knows.
I mean G1 figures were designed in the mid 70s so yeah, that's pretty ancient, as far as toys go.
Next video idea : Legacy Armada Starscream
I don't have one.
I mean I do like the looks reissue and hopefully it comes to Canada soon instead of a wall of retraxs. Although I’m a bit torn cause this might also look good in show accurate colours which the other characters have done why they skipped on this idk.
Yeah I don't know what they were doing, why are the colors so varied between the releases.
Is that a resident evil reference?
What part?
@@PerspectiveEnd the intro of the very first game with the live action segments
What do you think of the rise of the beasts Optimus prime design
Looks pretty much the same as the Bumblebee one. It's just different enough they can make a new toy of it.
This maybe just me but I buy TF figures after watching the movies or during the showing
Also would it be cool if Starscream's ghost possessed Terrorsaur but they're both fighting for control for they body.
Who would win in a fight Starscream or terrorsaur?
How do you buy figures DURING a movie?
That would have made more sense than Waspinator.
@@PerspectiveEnd No, if it's a show i will buy a figure if i find the characters interesting as the show goes on. If it's a movie I will buy the characters after the movie.
Are you excited for rise of the beasts because I am hyped I love bayverse transformers and g1 so I love the combination
Which Michael Bay transformers movie is the best in your opinion
I mean the first one, but it's not like that's a Ringing endorsement.
@@PerspectiveEnd my favorite is the last knight
Way too much and my gun is so loose but I love this so much, I missed the reveal so when I saw it in stores my day was made. Robot mode is ok looking with great articulation and beast mode is a very nice statue lol. Terrorsaur wasn't my favorite character but he was an interesting one and fun. Thanks for the review perspectiveend
What is way too much?
Its a little more than a statue.
And you are welcome.
@@PerspectiveEnd I mean price wise it's too much.
It's weird how a lot of modern 1 step Changers don't aspired to be much.
He looks neat but kinda redundant they chose the same deco for the buzz worthy bumblebee repaint of the new kingdom terrisaur there was a couple other versions of him too but they just chose to make the reissue the exact same color of the newer release so if you have one you don't really have any need for the other
To be fair they kind of did both of them though, so if they went for a show repaint it would be redundant to the Golden disk one.
@@PerspectiveEnd that's true so I was hoping for the purple one I think that's the takara version
Yeah, even though I'm willing to pay the price, I'm not happy about it at all. I'd have loved to pick this up for like 10 to 15 but NO.
What is your opinion on transmetal terrorsaur?
I had more fun with the OG, but that was a pretty cool figure growing up.
@@PerspectiveEnd ok
I have bad news for you, Perspective... that isn´t a pterodactyl, it´s a pteranodon. Pterodactyls didn´t have a cone on the back of the head... actually, it´s not a pteranodon either, as those didn´t have teeth... maybe some other less known species...
I'm fairly sure they just didn't know the difference either when making the character, his name is Terrorsaur, which is clearly trying to Evoke Ptero of some type.
@@PerspectiveEnd Pterosaurs are the name of the group as a whole, I think that is the reference.
yeah, my beast wars reissues are about $50 Aud ;;
Jesus man... To be fair Minimum wage there is like 23 right?
Minimum in the US is 8, so this takes you 3 hours to pay off, and for us it's 3 hours and some change.
So it's not too different.
4:31 jobby
A bit yes.
Among all the terrorsaur repaints which one did you love the most mine is fractyl..... Ok fine I'm lying it's the aoe swoop/garboyl it's just this thing but blue
The normal one. Never had any of those repaints.
