When lorong halus yesterday. No bite also. Very strong wind all the way to punggol waterfront. End up cycle there. And got a couple of kapas kapas with sand worm bait. Deep fried n very delicious fresh fish.
Hehe we went to Lorong Halus after many uncles we spoke to told us to try it out. Apparently there is a lot of barramundi there, we will try it a couple more times I guess! Nice bro, freshly caught fish from the ocean definitely delicious!

Love the example you guys are setting; picking up trash that isn't your own, catch and release. You guys are good role models for anglers of all ages. Tight lines guys, hope to see more from y'all 🤙🤙🤙
Best videos! I love the fact that you released the fish that are too small / u Dont want to eat in your videos. Marine conservation is very important. On I side note I am quite new to fishing and because of this, am not really sure where punggol waterfront is as I cant find it on Google maps. Can you help explain where it is?
Agreed bro. It is understandable at times that fishing can be tiring or sometimes it just feels like a hassle to clear up after yourselves, so we try our best to clear up any trash we see every time we go fishing. It makes the place look more pleasant after all.
Thanks man! Yes they love worms 👍🏻, in fact sarong worms are very versatile bait, almost all fishes would eat it. We use size 1 hooks most of the time, but if we are using sarong worm then smaller size 4 hooks.
Haha fishing doesn’t mean we always have to keep what we catch mah! Occassional catch-and-release ensures sustainable fishing ☺️ of course for duri, they are plentiful in singapore, so we usually give to people fishing around us. If theres no one around, we usually release them (sometimes we keep to eat). 😎😎
The jahan? They can be cooked in many ways! Can check out our previous vid where we made fish n chips with it. Another popular way of cooking them is curry/asam pedas.
Hey bro, for surfcaster mainly using 15ft ATC platinum surf rod paired with Shimano beastmaster 10000 reel spooled with 30lb powerpro, and a 15ft daiwa phantom surf rod paired with shimano activecast 10000 spooled with 30lb daiwa 8x braid. 😎
Thanks bro! Yup can’t eat it everyday, was hoping to get some barramundis and snappers because catching duris can get rather repetitive and boring for some of our viewers haha.. but oh well they are still fun to catch!
Hey bro, for surf rods we are using an ATC platinum surf (15ft) paired with Shimano Beastmaster 10000 reel, and a Daiwa Phantom Surf (15ft) paired with Shimano Activecast 10000 reel. The other rods are a 7ft Daiwa Phantom Snapper paired with a Daiwa BG 4000 reel, and a 12ft rod (not too sure what brand haha, was a cheap rod on offer) with a Daiwa BG 4000 reel.
Hey bro, usually we give the duris to people around us. Happened that there wasn’t anyone fishing around us that day, so we released the fish.!If you pass by punggol one day and see us catching duri, we’ll be happy to give them to you.
@@JivesFishing im...aunty to u all long2 ago i stay punggol kampung but now be flat im sickness cant go to far cos my leg weak..for all of u gud luck fishing and all the best👍👍👍👍
Hey bro, so sorry we always forgot to do it. Anyway, all of our rigs are apollo rigs (can check out our previous video on how to tie them 😎) and the bait for the jahans were both live prawns hahaha. Jahan not usually caught on live prawns but don’t worry too much about the baits when it comes to jahan - we have tried market sotong, kelong sotong, dead prawns, live prawns, worms, all of which they took haha☺️
May I know how to get to this location? I was searching for it last week, but could not find. I searched on Google map using Punggol Waterfront 1 and 2, and went to both sites, but end up frustrated. Pls let me know which is nearest car park or HDB block, or any prominent landmark.
Sometimes it could be that anglers forgot or are really tired after a long night of fishing. We try our best to clean up after one another so that our spots can be more pleasant to fish in as well. 👍🏻
Hmm for Lorong Halus we took a car there, am not too sure if public transport is convenient, but I understand that it is possible to walk from Punggol End side via the park connector (walk towards the dam at Coney Island side). As for the Punggol Waterfront, I think bus 84 goes to the Punggol Jetty, and you can walk in from there.
It’s sickening how inconsiderate other anglers can be by just leaving their trash behind after fishing. They expect the trash to magically disappear. We need more people like you! I’m gonna teach my son to watch your videos and learn ethics from you.
Hey bro, sorry if it was uncomfortable. We filmed it closer because we were afraid the viewers couldn’t hear us HAHA 😂 but thanks for the feedback bro, will try to film further away in the future 👍🏻👍🏻

Wow, red snapper is rare! Only thing that prevents us from going is the mosquitoes and wild boars 😂😂

U cast b4 or after the floater at punggol end?
Usually cast before. We tried casting after the floater a couple of times, the bite rate is higher but line may get stuck on the floaters’ chains.
