There are good say it like a train ac system but it’s a cheap alternative way have the same parts and everything as a train unit

Do you know if the RunTru evaporator coils come with the TXV valve already installed inside? I am getting ready to purchase and install one of these, but I can't find any clear documentation online stating whether or not I need to order a TXV seperately.

They come with a piston metering device so you will have to have a txv ordered and put in if you want one.

@@travistalkington9297 Ok. I hear txv's are better, so I may remove the piston and install the TXV if it's possible.

@@pkprince14well it depends on better. They are more efficient but more that can go wrong. With a txv the can become clogged like a piston but the txv can also loose its charge in the bulb and then can no longer regulate the superheat properly.

@@travistalkington9297 I see. Good to know! Maybe I'll keep it as is then. Thanks!

@@pkprince14 also if your putting the system in yourself and have excess return flex duct do not just pull it back into the attic that is just going to restrict the flow and cause the unit to be less efficient.

I would!ct recommend venting refrigerant either. I also wouldn't recommend uploading a fuckin video of you doing online while openly stating you're doing it. Jeebus man
