my mom has been traveling to poland for work all my life and she always brings home the marshmallow things and we used to think they were actually made from bird’s milk

I love Ptasie Mleczko but I don't believe they should advertise it as a marshmallow... it's very unique in texture and if you expect to eat a marshmallow you can get dissapointed cause it really wasn't supposed to be a classic marshmallow 🙂 BTW in Poland we love to eat it chocolate first 😅

My husband is polish, so I've tried quite a few polish sweets. I prefer the classic Ptasie Mleczko, which ist with darker Chocolate than the cream version and has a lovely vanilla flavor. We always put them into the fridge...we think they taste even better when they're cooled. You should have tried Princepolo. In our opinion it is one of the best polish sweets. I've never been the greatest fan of chocolate wafer bars, but I love Princepolo 😊
Ah yes Pawełek filled with advocat. Polish people for some reason love putting vodka into choco. There is whole brand of called... if i'm not mistaken, Baryłki. Its box of chocolates looking like small barrels. And they are empty inside. I mean there is no cream or fillig. THERE ARE FULL OF VODKA. LIQUID.
1) 'Alcohol' doesn't mean 'vodka'. There are lots of different alcohol fillings when it comes to Polish sweets, but none of them are vodka. Those are usually thick cream with small alcohol infusion. It is 2% when it comes to Pawełek. 2) Standard Baryłki (those small barrels) also doesn't contain vodka. There are version made with cooperation of Soplica vodka brand, with flavored liquors though. 3) You may be confusing Wedel's Baryłki with other alcoholic pralines, like Finnish Panda brand ones. Those have real clear vodka inside. 4) This is not specifically Polish thing, having alcohol filled candies. It is common in north and central Europe and I think every country there has it's own candies with alcohol.

Hi I'm from Poland. In our cuntry we have this 2:30 "big party size crisps" but for us they are like normal size packs. (You can find smaller but it is realy uncommon.) We just eat one pack sometimes even three or four days ;D

Yes I’m a chef during my collage days we used agar agar a lot it’s just a gelatine made from seaweed suitable for vegans and vegetarians and for religious purposes instead of pork gelatine which many religions can’t have or people such as vegans so agar agar is used instead!
I believe you meant Nilla wafers rather than Necco. Neço wafers are a (really gross and nasty) thin candy disc, and Nilla wafers made by Nabisco are used for banana pudding and also work as a makeshift crust for mini cheesecakes that I make. They'd be yummy in a trifle as well, soaked in Madeira or fruit juice.
The lays are packaged in poland and are much better than uk crisps i always go to the polish shops in aberdeen and get them they have great flavours too. Great vlog guys.

Gelatin is an animal based jelling agent, while the agar is plant based. That's probably part of the reason the marshmallow is different.

My favourite chocolate is Cadbury. I've tried Polish, Ukrainian, Dutch, Russian, British, American, Greek, Slovakian, Belgian, French, Italian, Swiss, German, Austrian at least.
We call them green onions or scallions. 😁 Everything looks yummy!
