First off thanks for the great videos. When it comes to giving a detailed explanation on electronics i'm all in. I bought one of these speakers and really enjoyed the sound from such a small speaker I had to get two. First off I had the JBL extreme 2 and just wasn't feeling it so here I am with two of these and man do they sound RIGHT! All I can tell people if you can afford 2 you wont regret it, thanks Flossy for the info on this product from Bose.

Brother Floss the Galaxy S8 has duel Bluetooth capability to play both speakers at the same time.. maybe try that in the next video
Quincy Williams What's cool with the new Bluetooth 5.0 capability is that it is possible to pair up to 4 speakers. Since one speaker (from your phone) connects to another speaker with the Bose Connect app, then the other speaker that's also connected to your phone would connect to another speaker. It's really cool and tried it at the Bose store.

Thats not a galaxy thing, bose has the app that allows you to sync multiple speakers at the same time.
You can only sync one other speaker with Bose Connect

I love the soundlink mini 2, and after watching this I have a feeling that the Revolve+ doesnt quite live up in the bass department. If so im a little disappointed, cause I love the sound signature on the mini 2 moreso than any bluetooth speaker ive ever heard.

On amz for some reason the regular version is rated higher. Of course I'm getting this version. If these are even 10% better than the soundlink 3 they deserve being purchased. In India though, I expect to pay 30,000 for them. Thats about $420-430

You may have being informed already. You must plug in power cable to electrical outlet when first use to activate battery. They are shipped half charged.
I got the smaller one and it's the best for $200 now. It's better than JBL Flip 4 or UE Boom 2. You should check out Beolit 17 i heard it's the best out now but it cost $500. It's an expensive speaker

Hey Floss!! I heard this speker last year at Target and was very impressed with the sound but the price kept me from buying it. Lo and behold i recently found one color each at pawnshops so only pais about $240 for the pair!!! I just saw your review and I'm glad you were impressed with them too.Great review as usual!!!

You're video reviews are great and you're very down to earth and a straight shooter the way you express yourself. The only reason I didn't go for one or two of these speakers is that in Australia they retail at $439 each. The JBL Extreme 2 and Sony XB41 can be had way under AU$300. The JBL and Sony ar are twice the size and don't have 360" sound. If these Bose Speakers were closer to AUD $300, I'd do what you did and buy 2 of them to run in Stereo.

Hey Floss, this is a great channel, but, this 'test' with both speakers next to eachother like this only makes sense if you're using them as PC speakers or something. I assume the link functionality is meant as a multi-room function, so you should place them in different places in the room (or several rooms) and then tell how well they sound and whether the 360 effect is indeed working well. I have an kitchen island and a 360-speaker with a decent look of a certain quality would be a great solution.
I wonder how well these hold up against a Sonos Play 1 or a Sony SRS-ZR5. Both don't have a battery, so need a power connection nearby, but are cheaper as well, and the Sony supports basically all wireless protocols, including chromecast audio...

Djoetma these aren't wifi speaker, they're Bluetooth so you can't put them I'm different rooms, anything more than 25 feet is going to kill the sound. 360 sound means you hear it from all around the speaker, it's not an effect. Thats why In the video I picked the speaker up and moved it away. The play 1 is definitely louder and has more bass, but it's not portable, waterproof or call ready.

Hey Flossy in a past video where you compared your other top Bluetooth speakers - UE Megaboom, Beats Pill, and your top speaker was the Big Blue Party. How does the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ compare with the competition?
+Flossy Carter Would you recommend the Bose Sound Link Revolve+? I am thinking about purchasing one from my local Best Buy. Every time I walk into Best Buy, I always go to the bluetooth speakers department before testing out this bluetooth speaker. I need a final suggestion, before making my final decision, which is purchasing the Sound Link Revolve+. I'm thinking about purchasing one Sound Link Revolve+ bluetooth speaker soon, and wait until the new year, before purchasing a second one, before something happens. I know every two, to three years, Best Buy will stop selling a specific Bose bluetooth speaker model if a newer model comes out. So, I'd like to get my hands on 2 Sound Link Revolve+ speakers at some point before Best Buy decides to discontinue selling them. I know that in the end, this speaker will blow my 2 year old Bose Sound Link Mini 2 out of the water since the Bose Sound Link Revolve+ is louder than the Sound Link Mini 2.

those are really nice. you can hear the clarity for real! on a side note with Bluetooth 5.0 that comes with the Galaxy s8 you can pair multiple speakers together without the need for that function built in to the speaker. although I'm not sure if true surround sound work natively or not.
+Ryan Hatton when you pair 2 with the galaxy, it lags too much too compare it to any sync speakers, and there's no latency adjust. That would be a great feature if it worked flawlessly
