    Very Impressed. This professors dedication to his field, and what an important one, should be celebrated and emulated by the next generation of scientists.

    I've learnt sooo much. Med schools should go back to teaching this way instead of giving random facts they expect us to remember for an exam. THANK YOU!

    The most important science class any human can ever take. It must be required for all majors along with nutrition.

    Stagnation causes disease not germs. If the body is active and healthy then disease should be very minimal to non-existent to said body. There is also a study that over eating causes tumors and cancer not diseases. Bacterial infection should be impossible if immunity is more active.

      if you get bit by an animal with rabies, best immunity will not protect you, same with botulism in your food, and that's just 2 examples

    Thank you for making this video to teach people there are other diseases out there in this world besides mental illnesses such as infectious diseases like ear infections and respiratory infections like bronchitis. So people can know what disease I may be suffering from.

    wonderful lecture. I would like to propose though that the inflammatory reaction never increases blood flow or tissue oxygenation.

    • @vincaalkaloids6732
      @vincaalkaloids6732 9 років тому +2

      No. There is increased blood flow in inflammed body part due to vasodilation. Thats why the inflammed part looks red

    @frankcoffee " Bernard is right. The microbe is nothing. The terrain is the important one " - Pasteur at death bed- . Despite the esterile techniques, antibiotics and antivirals, sepsis is the leading cause of deaths inUS Intensive Units . Billionths of U$ are at play by pharmaceuticals industries.

    The pictures are indeed terrible, there is a lot of work that can be done with the microscopic. The microchips they make so tiny are enough proof there is equipment available for everyone to study this but they left people in the dust with no equipment. When are people going to stop having drug, jail, violent, and money problems and real estate magazines full of dream beautiful mansions and get down to real buisness in life?
