Now that Golbez has made his appearance in FFXIV, I'm looking forward to hearing what this theme sounds like because you know you can't have Golbez without it.
For me FF4DS was one of my best RPG experiences in a while. Played it last year. The game was so hard that you felt accomplished when you beat the bosses. I finished the game with no guide and no augments. But damn was it hard ! Probably died around 200 times. But I didn't grind tho. I was playing active time and sometimes I felt I was playing FFXIV and doing rotations because of how fast I was inputing and selecting my moves. Had to adapt my menu to every boss in order to be efficient. Fun times !!!
I know a lot of peolpe hate this version of the game, but I actually love it. It looks like a Playstation 1 game and I love that as well. The gameplay was fun and the bosses were pretty challenging to be honest. I got nothing but love for this game. R.I.P. to my Nintendo DS 😢
@@S1EEPLES5 People were hating it for many reasons. The dialogues were one of the main reasons. I fucking loved that game from front to back. I never understood the hate
@@S1EEPLES5 I think they thought the voiceacting was too "robotic". I can`t confirm that because I played the game like 10 Years ago, when I was 15 or 16. I played the game with german sub titles (I`m actually from Germany) and my english sucked back in 2014.
Yeah, I always found it weird that the FF3 and FF4 3DS remakes always got ragged on. I can only really rationalize it as a 'they changed it now it sucks' moment and I wished they had kept going, cus seeing FF6 in that style would have been AMAZIGN.
Milon was used because the SNES version of the game couldn't show the entire name. This is also why Barbariccia is called Valvalus, and Rubicante lost the E to get Rubicant. Kainazzo is a romanization of his Japanese name, Kainattso (which I guess is how the Japanese pronounce Cagnazzo?) All 4 names come from Dante's Divine Comedy. You also have to remember that the translation was done by 1 person and may not have understood what the original writers were referencing.

scarmiglione is the first archfiend we fight in 6.2
@@1jidion That's kind of a given though, isn't it? I wonder if he'll use some of his FFIV DS mechanics..man, his Curse move was a bitch in that game.
@@seanobrien276 I can definitely see some type of doom mechanic
@@1jidion That fits Scarmiglione, yeah. We'll just have to see
We got original in 6.2 let see different remix for next 3 bosses
Scarmigilone gave me nightmares as a kid, but it's good that he and his allies have such good music!
One of the best songs from any FF game!!
FF4DS is easily the best version of the game to me. So damned hard, so very rewarding.
True
Definitely miss the endgame secret dungeon from the older versions though.
@@NateLMarburg just a garbage with random rooms

@@NateLMarburg I think that was only in the GBA version. The Super Famicom version didn't have that.
why didn't i think about using healing as damage to a zombie

ff14 rendition is good!
When your 2 year old just won't listen.
Wait a bit, Scarmiglione!?! What happened to him just being Milon?

@@bon7029 'gn' is silent(ish) in Italian (as in 'lasagna') so Cagnazzo is pronounced Kainazzo, yes
@@hjt091 the gn sound is not silent at all, it's fairly close if not basically the same as the Spanish ñ
