....wow, I see why our customers complain so much....the bins are left in the road, which causes safety issues, not to mention how they handle the carts, and the driver driving backwards in a residential area.....thanks for the video.
it gets me that they try and lift the can when its heavy, they have a can tipper why dont they use that istead of throwing there back out? great looking mack rear loader!
umm will have this route done by christmas hehe ...We have semi manual sort here with labrei top selects that move faster and they are 3 stream sorting glass /paper stuff and cans/plastic ...on an odd note we had a leach (bought used)where I worked at K&E Solid waste but do to the slowness of the blade (it was a 77) the box was replaced with an Ex Toronto 20 yard Dempster which was far superior to the leach even funnier is the leach packed 10 tones as a 25 yard and the replacment box 20 yard dempster did 8 tons
I cant get enough of this truck....however both swampers seem lazy and i can only imagine the long days they go through. How big was the route btw? Only one truck for each stream definitely isn't efficient. Will they continue to use rearloaders or will the Meridans lead them into automationgv
I love this truck, nice job capturing it for the last time you can. Is this truck going to be scrapped or sold somewhere? Are they getting rid of the McNeilus? It seems new enough to keep.
david brunner Trash Trucks and Lawn Care First off, they are picking up from both sides of the streets which is against Republics policy, and they're placing the containers all over the road. Republic has very strict policies unfortunately.
that would make no sense then to have 2 people on the back if they are onlying doing 1 side. and having the bins thrown everywhere is very common in Massachusetts
Oh man she’d need a shot of adrenaline to have enough energy to be lazy. Slides bins to him then stands on the truck, on her phone. Totally useless. I’m sure his morale is low with a co-worker like that.
Tall boah doing all the work!!!!
My 2nd assigned truck at Republic was AW1018 in Pittsburgh
Wow, fun to see these old Leach rear loaders working away still. These are so classic. Awesome work!
Nice work! Cool to see a BFI truck still running
Simco Barker TrashTrucks not for long :(
I remeber in my town Bellingham, MA we use to get that same 2RII rear loader
I truly know the feeling of working alone even when you have help it sucks truly

too idiots and they are no brainers so simple
If it’s to much in the trash can the tipper doesn’t really help to much the can will just break loose once it’s raised
Some feel like their saving time by just picking up the can because those tippers move slow
