good luck
@@UbergeeksBiz thanks it got here and managed to fix it, repair price went from like a few hundred to 30 bucks thanks 😊
@@sneakysquirrel4392 You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
One of the better videos on this iPad model! Instructions were good-one needs to view attaching the small connections closely et. al. the connection attach lead from home button has a tiny snap lever to be remindful of.
Without knowing it, you helped me a lot today. I replaced the digitiser and when I tested it before putting the iPad back together it worked. After I put the iPad back together there were parts of the digitiser that were not responding to touch. I got it working eventually, I think that I had the three screws that fasten the LCD screen down too tight and these were putting unnecessary pressure on the two digitiser connections, so I loosened them just a little. Anyway, all working now. May God bless you, and thank you for all your good work!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
I want to buy a protective cover for the iPad and I do not know how much space it is, but its model is 1893
Really great video, made my screen replacement very straightforward. Thank you!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
Thank you! I was able to replace mine successfully. Unfortunately I damaged the cable of the home button while removing the original screen, so I had to use the new one without touch button. Removing the screen was the hard part
Your video was very helpful and easy to follow 😊
Your detailed description really helped

(Update)
Thank you so much for this super help full Video! My daughter's screen shattered yesterday. She was so upset and her warranty had expired a few months ago. Thanks to you're links, I was fortunate to have next day delivery on all the items I needed to replace the screen. It wasn't easy but very doable, it took me about 45 min with all the right tools and a very help video like yours. I'm her hero because of you! much appreciated!

@@UbergeeksBiz what if I don’t have tape can I just leave it without tape?
Is it important to cover the sensors on the new screen. Can you please tell me what size tape did you use?
thanks bharat ji
how can you fix microphone on phone??
Quick question. Is it safe to heat up the back side of the frame? I read it heats up tape faster, but does that sound safe?
Do not recommend heat from back.
Thank you very much fixed my grandson iPad. But I didn’t have double face tape
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
So the links to amazon for the screen work right?
Yes
How does the quality of the replacement LCD and digitizer compare to the OEM?
Very helpful video thank you!
You are welcome.
None OEM screen is just alright. It gets the job done. But the glass is not as strong as OEM.
Bros phone rings in every video😂 love your vids btw
I know right.. haha.
What kind of tape was that. I need it for my ipad

how do i replace a apple ipad 1474 screen bc right now im freaking out about how to replace it
Are you planning to fix on your own ?
UberGeeks I need help when I cleaned my lcd screen with rubbing alcohol the touchscreen does not work anymore is it still good or just need wiping because it left dried rubbing alcohol in it
Try check the cable connection.
Did it work ?
Yes i saw that the digitizer connections came out so I fix that and some of the screen has dead spots how to fix it?
@@clarenceflores3795 If the digitizer has dead spots, you can not fix that. Would have to replace a new digitizer.
@@UbergeeksBiz ok thank you already have a replacement coming in
What digitiser would you recommend?
I have the URL listed in description
Thank you so much for this video. I have replaced my screen and when I went to put the metal cover with the 3 screws back on....It had vanished. I have looked everywhere and swept under and around everything in the room. I even went through the trash can and that was pretty gross. And I cannot find that cover. My question is is the metal aluminum? And if it is, could I replace it with a home made piece of aluminum cut to fit. And is there anything else applied to its surface that makes it more electronic friendly. Is is possible to purchase that as a replacement part? It is pretty frustrating, that's for sure. I managed to save my home button but it is all for nothing at this point. I'd really appreciate your advice. Thank you again. The video was great!
Hi, when you said metal cover with the 3 screws. Are you referring to 21:00 ? If yes, you can use the ipad without the metal cover.
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. When I started again to put things back together (after your text) is when I discovered the thing I had been hunting for was actually the connector and cover to the LCD in one piece. Anyway I went on but I didn't manage to fix my iPad. I think the problem is a bent pin where the screen attatches. I had a lot of trouble with them. They were crooked coming off the cable and difficult to line up
Oops sent too soon. Anyway finally they snapped in. My number one on the touch screen didn't work. But I also couldn't get the screen to quite fit even though I had cleaned all of the channels of residue. And then I broke the corner of the new screen. I really do think. That the screen itself wasn't exactly right as it was at only one corner that it just barely didn't fit. You were correct in that it really isn't all that easy to do. It try again but I'm not going to put any more money into it. Thank you for the video though.
@@cathykelly5288 Yikes. If the pin is bent, you need someone that's able to change connector. It's impossible to re-bent the bent pin.
@@UbergeeksBiz yes, I did try to get it back in place but could not. I learned a lot in the trying though and wouldn't be so intimidated if I ever needed to try this again. I'm glad I tried to fix it anyway. And again thank you for helping me through it. Got Bless you :)
How much do you charge to fix it?
Are you going to main in your iPad ?
Im having an issue. I did everything as directed and now the screen barely works. When i touch the apps at the top, some doesn't work and some opens the app below it.
Is it because I have fingerprints on the LCD ? If so, how do i clean it
Try to cover the sensor on the back of your digtizer screen. Go to my other video: ua-cam.com/video/WH7m6WjKv6s/v-deo.html play at 16:25. I explained the sensor on the back.
what mm tape did you use

power button not working after lcd replacement .. help me plz
Hmm.. maybe you cut off the power button cable?
Make sure the home button bracket is align with the home button clicker. Check your home button cable and make sure connector is connected firmly.
I changed ir like the video, but now my touch isnt working
Screen digitizer not working ?
@@UbergeeksBiz it was my fault, i didnt had the screen on, now it works perfectly, thaanks
@@BalonPieTv You are welcome.
For some reason now my lcd screen isn’t turning back on.
Do you see white light at the back of your LCD ?
Did you try to reseat connector? My LCD did not turn on, but turned on after removing connector and plugging back in.
@@aremdvnasophia @cmoore700 Yes, that's something you can try too. Remove connector and reconnect connector back. Sometimes reseating them will work. Or try that on battery connector too. Good luck.
before disconnect or cut the screen cable you must disconnect the battery to avoid any logic board damage .
My Lcd is not turning on
When you turn on, do you see white lighting on the back of LCD ?
So when I put the LCD in noting happens
@@sfxka Can you check the LCD connector to make sure no bent pins ? How about battery ? Still have juice to power on ?
@@UbergeeksBiz I got it, it was just died lol
@@UbergeeksBiz but now the touch does not work
