Hello crocheters, in today’s beginner crochet tutorial, I will show you how to crochet a branch of camellia flowers. The branches themselves are also beautiful with other flower matches, great handmade/crochet idea for home decoration, crocheted flower for hat decor, birthday gift or mother's day gifts. VERY EASY Tutorial. Totally beginner friendly crocheting tutorial with slow demonstration. Main stitches used in this project are: single crochet (SC), half double crochet (hdc), dc(double crochet), and slip stitch (slst).

ch - chain
sc - single crochet

►Tools details:
YARN: 8ply cotton or acrylic yarn
HOOK: 2mm crochet hook;
FLORAL STEM: 0.5mm wire for leaves and 2mm * 30cm floral stem wire, a pair of pliers

- chain 53 (or chain 73 for a bigger flower)
- in the 5th chain from the hook, work 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc, repeat until you get to the end of the row
- flip your work and work 6 dc into the first hole, work 1 sc into the next hole, 6 dc into the next hole, 1 sc into the next hole, repeat until you get to the end of the row
- chain 1 to secure the end and cut off the yarn by keeping a 20cm tail
- shape the flower by rolling your work and use a yarn needle to sew the flower in place
All of your patterns are gorgeous and so easy to follow !!! I’m using a few of them to make a bouquet and I’m so excited !!

Slip knot, chain 11
Insert wire
Sc in second stitch from the hook
1 hdc, 6dc, 1hdc, 3sc in last space
Turn work
1 hdc, 6dc, 1hdc, 1sc
Slip stitch to first stitch
Cut and tie off.

Hey! Ty for your tutorial, just wanted to ask- If I want the flower to be bigger should I do 93 chains at the start and even bigger 113 at the start? And so on..?
What brand of yarn do you use?
They are 100% acrylic yarn 8ply, I just bought from local shop Spotlight (I am at Sydney, Australia).
Can i use 4.0mm size of hook instead of 3.0mm?
It’s totally fine! It only makes it a little bigger than usual!
