This is perfect! I am meeting my boyfriend's mother for the first time next week and I'm hoping to make a good impression by making a flower for both her and his sister 😊
@fguzem She and her daughter loved them! 😊 Turns out, she crochets, too, so we had a nice chat about it while I helped her out with dinner. 😊 She is great and I'm super relieved that she wound up liking me! 😂💞
I made the flower and it turned out amazing!! I’ve never added wire to any of my projects so it was a bit of a challenge but I got better as I made each piece! Currently making my second one for my bouquet. Amazing tutorial!! Stitch wise, definitely beginner friendly. Adding wire to a crochet project I think brings it to more of an intermediate level.
so pretty! im making this as an eid gift for my mum.. she likes plants and i know she’ll keep it in a jar somewhere :) thank you for this easy detailed tutorial!
I want to make an orange Lilly and a matching crochet scarf for my mom’s birthday in a few days, this is perfect! I’ll try to update when I finish my Lilly flower
After you reach the point of the petal and it says follow the pattern and skips the video… what part of the pattern are we following? It it just repeating what we’ve just done or?
Could you mention how long the length of the metal wire was. I ended up crochet with the metal wire still connected to the rest of it that is wound up because I didn’t want to cut it to short. That would be helpful thanks 🙏
Did anyone make this without the bud? Does it look weird? Could I replace it with another leaf? I’m on a time crunch and each petal takes me like 2 hours 😭
I think you are a very good teacher! But respectfully it's extremely hard and mostly impossible to read your text! You need a darker text, or a darker background if you're going to use white. People need to see all of your information and instructions! The white doesn't allow that! There are many things on your beautiful site that I would love to learn to make, however I can't see/read the pattern, materials or instructions on how to do so!
Hi, thank you for your feedback very much! I added the audio for my new videos, but for this old video, nothing could be changed. I share some free crochet tutorials on my UA-cam channel, and other patterns in my shop charge a little bit of money. You may subscribe to us to learn more about crochet projects. :)
@@hibaboubia2930 I'm not sure exactly how much I used but I'd say about 160 grams of yarn in total: 60 grams for the petals and 100 grams for the stem and other parts. Sorry if that didn't make sense.
Please does anyone know where I can buy the branches? like what it's called or the size? I can't seem to find any that look correct I only find wires :,,)
Hello, I'm from the Philippines and I would like to ask for your permission if I can sell the finished product of this video? I will give credits to you on my product description. Thank you very much!
I have a few questions! Is this floral wire or just regular wire? Also, can you make these flowers with any type of yarn? I have worsted yarn as well as lace yarn.
any wire that is bendable but not too brittle and thin will do. i suggest craft wire. also the yarn nbeing used looks like 3.5mm acrylic or cotton yarn, so to get exact results use either of those 3.5mm yarns. others could probably work but they might end up much smaller or larger than the ones this creator is making
Thank you for the video but it would have been much better to put the writing in a strong black rather than white, it's very hard to read with the bright background😢
@@cheyennehemeyer9110 of course. so every yarn has a certain thickness. basically the thickness of the yarn is measured in mm, so the higher the mm, the thicker the yarn. doesn’t necessarily always correlate to the material, but certain types of yarns do have higher or lower thicknesses to them.
I’ll be honest, assembling was waaaay harder than it actually looked. I bought the wire based on the tutorial from Etsy, 0.3-0.5mm diameter. I used 0.41mm and it was way too thin and flimsy overall. I’ll try again with the 0.5mm, but the petals were flopping so badly all over the place trying to assemble it I ended up just gluing them at the bases…
The more petals I make, the more I lose my sanity
Don't say that I'm trying to figure out how many I'll need for my wedding bouquet 😂
the realest thing ive ever seen commented on a crochet tutorial

I got to make 60 more🥲😅

today i was given the news that my very close friend lily had sadly taken her own life. i’m making a forever lily to always have her by my side🥺💛
My good friend lost his battle with depression on Monday and his favorite flowers were lillys so I figured I’d do the same thing. ❤️

For the repeating part of the petal is it just row 1? Or row 1 and 2? Help🥲

what the size of the wire?
Thank you so much for these flower tutorials, they are all lovely. I was looking for a lily and this is perfect!! 💚🤍
Very beautiful flower, very beautiful expression 🥳🤩
Thanks for making this video! It really helped me in my project. ❤
i am trying to gather materials now- how big/thick should the wire be?
Probably 40 cm
Hi, do you have a smaller version of this flower pattern?
If you don't have fancy markers for crocheting, bobby pins work really well :)
super love your tutorials 💗 may I know where to find the written patterns? 😊
it’s on the left corner of the video, you can either screen shot it or write it down like i did:)
I made one for my friend BD cause she loves this flower and it turned out amaaazing 🥹🫶
is there an alternative pattern for the bud? i cant quite get the one in the video

Does bernat yarn work too for the petals?

So beautiful flower 😍😍Thanks for sharing..🌹🌹 please do more flower tutorials.. ❤️❤️❤️
where do i buy the wire? not the stem but the wire, what is it called??
I think any crafts store, hobby lobby has some
thankyou for this tutorial ! can u do lavender next? 🥰
Can you do a tiger lily so I will know how to do multi colors?
I think you'd have to paint them to get the colors exactly where you want them

Around how much would this be priced if you were to sell it?
10 if big if medium 7-8 if small 5-7
what if i dont have a branch help😭😭😭😭
Hello! I just want to ask for permission if I can sell some of my projects using your pattern? Thank you❤️
What a masterpiece! BUT pls just speak... how can i work n read at the same time....
Can I use weight 4 yarn? I’m guessing that’s what the 4ply means but I’m not sure :/
Hi there, I would recommend weight #2 sport yarn for these flower projects. 4ply literally means the yarn is composed of 4 strands of thin threads.
What wire do you use?
I used a 20 gauge jewelry wire and it worked great
What’s branch??

A stitch count would be helpful because when adding who-knows-how-much wire to the petals, there seem to be three stitches into one???
there's a counter at the top right of how many stitches have been completed.
Is this cotton yarn?
yarn type doesn’t matter. i’ve made these with both cotton and acrylic and they work the same
can you make a more in depth video for this please😣

Excellent
why did you do a slipknot in the most extra and confusing way
I wanna know it’s size please reply as fast as possible if you do I will like your video
Where did u get the white wire
I wish I knew. I just used green instead (forestry wire).
It does not make sense to me how they are using such a small hook on this thick yarn
What do repeat?? Helppp
start from 4sc
What is the piano background song ?
Por favor subtítulos en español es muy hermoso ❤
NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY…….UNLESS THE BEGINNER IS SUPER MOTIVATED!!! Need a BLACK BACKGROUND to see the instructions more clearly.
Alguien sabe como se llama el alambre que usas para los petalos??
Thank you for the video but it would have been much better to put the writing in a strong black rather than white, it's very hard to read with the bright background😢
❤❤❤❤❤
I bought this pattern and here it was on UA-cam 🤨
How tight should my tension be in this video?
keep the tension pretty tight. the petals don’t need to be able to stretch so you don’t want space or holes.
استمر انت رائع😭❤👍
What yarn is it
any yarn will do this yarn looks like 3.5 mm yarn. i suggest acrylic or cotton yarn.
