In grad school, I had this awesome professor who shared short, but profound lessons. Here a few: 1. you cannot have a feeling without a thought- and we control our thoughts; what we think creatws how we feel; 2. when going through a tough time, it is actually a "growth spurt"; Buddism teaches our first spurt was birth and our life is a seroies of them-and good always follows; 3. suffering is how God showed us love; I offer mine up; You are a teacher as well, Diana. There are days I feel out-of- style. And then I watch one of your videos and am motivated to go to the closet and put together a "Diana-insired" thrifted outfit! You've taught me that it's great to embrace my style and taste and not conform!
