Well I can only say Wu Chang is an extremely good utility hunter in most situation however you have to master his teleport skill in all maps in order to gain all the benefits and here are some basic tips that every hunter must know no matter what hunter you use
1.Only camp if the situation allow like for example five to four cipher remaining but once you only have like 3 cipher remaining do not camp the first survivor you chair instead keep the pressure on survivor let them save since you gain two benefits one of them is they can't decide quickly enough second you might able to waste their tide
2.Once you the survivor reach those extremely good kiting spot and they are not main decoder just gave despite you hit them once since you will get kited very badly
3.If you bring teleport and is under cool down you start trying to chase whatever people you see and once your teleport is ready you can teleport to other cipher to catch the other person

What decides how easy it to kite a hunter is
A. If they have an ability early game with no presence and
B. How good their ability is without presence
Wu chang has teleport. It requires tons of skill to be able to land your umbrella, so if you miss by a little bit youll most likely not be able to hit the survivor. Even if you land just about on the survivor, many ciphers have a pallet or window close enough for you to be unable to get a free hit and therefore blink not being able to knock them down later. After that it will be very difficult hitting the survivor because wu chang has nothing to help him chase, so he will usually have to wait on his next teleport to even be able to have a chance which takes a while to recharge and will later cause him to lose too much time to catch before 3 ciphers activate, thats why wu chang is said to be “easy to kite” among top players.
I also cant see the chair strategies being very effective. At champion level, savers know when to save and at 3:38 the merc saved too late. At that point it didnt matter who the hunter was because they will most likely get terror shocked trying to save before half. Had the merc came earlier (and not swerve around you even though chair timer was getting dangerously close to half O_o) then the bell strategy would not have worked.
9:05 This chair strategy is hardly a strategy. At champion level, even if you spot the saver as you have someone in balloons, the saver SHOULD know that they have to hide until chair timer reaches 35% - 40% and do everything they can to not save until they have to. In that case the merc had plenty of walls around him to avoid you and for you to lose sight of him until it was time to save. But thats not what happens. Instead the merc purposly walks up to the chair without you even having to force him out of hiding, so he just made a bad play even though he certainty couldve delayed saving in that situation.
tip using wu chang:
dont use black on early game since he has a smaller hitbox and slow movement speed

I personally use black early game because of bonus attack speed on first hit + faster attack speed in general. I also camp in black guard form too so ig I'm doing it wrong

I’m a photo main but I’ve always wanted to play Wu Chang too since photoboi is kinda useless in big maps so thanks for the tips ^-^ I usually mess up the hits tho cause I’m so used to Joseph’s hitbox…
Pro trip for noob hunters: always have blink equipped unless you are playing as a hunter like gamekeeper or geisha that can reach a survivor without breaking a pallet that the survivor drops.
Basically, when a survivor drops a pallet, gamekeeper can grab the survivor and bring them towards him and geisha can dash towards the survivor, so basically you won’t need blink. I recommend equipping teleport or excitement for those characters, depending on which survivors you are playing against. Like if you have a bunch of stuns on the team you’re against like coordinators or enchantresses, I’d recommend excitement but if you are against a team with a priestess or have a lot of decoders on the team you’re against, I’d recommend teleport

I just can't play hunters because I live in the EU, my ping is 200ms. Why put EU server in NA?????!!
The only reason I could think of would be that EU doesn't have enough (active) players on it's own aka maybe the EU playerbase is so small it wouldn't be worth it to make an EU server, since it's rather often the case that EU servers tend to be rather empty in games compared to NA or any asian server (depends on which country made the game) of the same game. Now keep in mind I don't know the actual numbers of players for each region. That's just me guessing.
I play on both severs and foe me
Asia sever's ping is ok or terrible
My ping in NA/EU are 40-500
And Asia sever foe me is 29-900
(The 29 is only when Did the practice stuff 😞)

yup, wu chang is the most underrated hunter, but once you mastered it, he is a beast on wide map
Also, you must know the tp times, if you do it, you can tp to the survivor's back when they're decoding, and that is a inevitable hit
Tip: if you play Vs a Mind's eye or a seer, and you think that's a premade, you must "cheat" them, you show them than you will tp to a different place that you want to go, and, after to 5 seconds, yo cancelled that and do a go to the place that you want, walking or by tp, I always do that and I am A with Wu
If my ping would be that green like yours, I could be as good as you:) I can't play hunter, especially with 250+ ping.
I have 120 ping it sucks playing survivor because I miss calibrations.

The hunter cant see the survivors messages, when they say that i guess there is a probability for someone to come and help the one being chased

Here is some tips for BQ !
Chair strategy 1
Guard with main body . If you can see the others go for them, leave the chair at 50% (switch to mirror self)
Chair strategy 2
Guard using mirror. I suggest only doing this at 25% or more since it’s pretty risky to leave the chair as BQ.
Chair strategy 3
Guard 2 chairs at once if you can . Put mirror in between the chairs (it’s not as easy as it seems) when both are around 50-75% . I would suggest if one or both of them have been chaired once.
Traits
Definitely recommend detention and anything to stop the survs from decoding or to keep them away from gates , lower decoding and password entering speed.
Also bring teleport or blink.
Chasing strategy 1
Chase the survs using the mirror and only switch when it’s almost time up for mirror self.
Chasing strategy 2
Chase using main body while scaring other survs off ciphers using the teleport thing ( you can do this while chasing another player , but only if you’re sure they are not a good kiter and are not a forward or doc , priestess etc. )

Good guide bro! But I can give one tip on the Mets rescue try to double hit merc and if he rescue hit him again and then go for the one u chaired and u counter merc
Another tip, I think banning priestess in those map is not so good, u can ban seer or also mech that’s the think I like but good guide anyways(Wu power)

I sometimes literally don’t even change forms and I still win. He’s very easy to play with as long as you know what survivors will do and how to land a hit. If they run behind me while I’m trying to hit I’ll turn and hit them mid animation. It’s not very difficult at all
It's very easy to use Wu chang in my opinion but don't use teleport immediately white form has more speed then black form so don't waste teleport

I main WuChi and he's the first hunter I bought (because of his hitbox). I don't use blink tho--I'll try that. Been using teleport because that way, I get double teleports lmao. Use white for offense (esp early game) then switch to black for defense. Black can be useful against Forward.

Wu chang hitbox is pretty ridiculous. White phase takes time to just settle one hit meanwhile dark is pretty little. And looping between pallet seems to counter wuchang's hit cause his range is straight
I think to win as a hunter u can't counter cipher rush tho(unless u use mad eyes or dream with then that fine but most people don't) if u get to down the rescuer when they are about to rescue then you have higher chance to win. I often ban mercenary since I'm an axe boi user. I can counter mechanic robot thanks to axe boi purple resentful soul show location where survivor hiding yes (including her robot)

I have to say that not every mechanic user have bots or use it in the late game this means you wasted the ban character
For me tips for mechanics is don't use bots for opening exit gates use it for body block.

Axe Boy is pretty strong but has a *very* short hitbox. Wu Chang has a great hitbox and is also strong. I recommend getting Wu.
