Thank you for posting this video. I have been wanting to do a "tea" for friends but was concerned about all the work involved, but being able to go to Trader Joe's and buying all these wonderful products is great! I also love your easy to understand instructions.
Hi Sara, yay! Glad I was able to help you! Yes, afternoon tea isn’t too hard to do at home with Trader Joe’s shortcuts! I’ve been doing it at home with my daughter for 6 years. Hope your tea with friends is a success!
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you! I invited 8 ladies for tea two days from today and don’t have a lot of time. These tips will allow me to get everything in one place and prep efficiently. Thank you so much 😊
Line the bread with a thin layer of butter to prevent the bread from getting soggy then wrap them in a airtight container or use plastic wrap and they should keep for the next day. Make sure to wrap them right away to prevent the bread from getting hard.

This boosted my confidence to host afternoon tea someday, never thought I could get fancy looking plates duh!
Nice idea, I used to make everything from scratch.
What a wonderful idea!!!!! So practical and accessible to all lifestyles. Thank you!
If you freeze the bread before cutting it will cut a lot easier when filled

You’re welcome!
Can I make the sandwiches the night before and will be ok for the next day at noon?
I think they might become soggy overnight. It’s best to make it the day of and not let them sit too long.

Did you gave any spread to go with scones?
@SS11660 I did not. But you can. I bought lemon curd but forgot to include it.
I love this❤
Yay! Glad you love it!
