I have a question about reflection. Why did Monet paint the reflection of a sailboat bigger than it should have been? Wider I guess I should say. Maybe it was his impressionism.
Unfortunately, Sherry I don't follow Monet's work, so I can't answer that one for you. Maybe because it gave the impression that the reflection was closer to the viewer?
@@TheDevonArtist I had a feeling you perhaps don't follow his work but thanks for answering my question. Most of what I draw or paint comes from my mind and I have no specific style but many. Not bragging in any way. I've copied a few paintings from famous past artists-- it gives me ideas for techniques. Again, thanks Paul. And love your lesson on reflection!
