  • Gulab Jamun Cake | Eggless Fusion Cake Recipe | Festival Special Cake Recipe
    Ingredients:
    Whole wheat flour - 84 gm
    Gulab jamun premix - 120 gm
    Powdered sugar - 120 gms
    Vanilla essence - 2 to 3 drops
    Ghee - 50 ml
    Oil - 40 ml
    Milk - 130 ml
    Baking powder - 1 tsp
    Cardamom powder - 2 pinch
    Salt - a pinch
    Saffron threads - 10 to 15
    Gulab Jamun - 7 to 8
    Recipe:
    In a mixing bowl add sugar, ghee, oil and whisk together. Add all other ingredients including Gulab jamun premix, flour, baking powder, cardamom powder, vanilla essence, and salt with milk and saffron threads.
    Fold them altogether and prepare a thick but smooth batter. Consistency should be a bit thicker than normal batter.
    Grease a Bundt cake tin or round cake tin and line it with parchment paper. Take a steel glass or Ramekin bowl and keep it in the center. Pour the prepared batter in tin. You can fill the glass with rice or beans for better stability.
    Now add 7-8 Gulab jamun pieces into the batter depending upon the size of tin.
    Bake for 35 min at 170 degree.
    Let it cool down completely. Run a knife through it and flip the cake on a plate. Remove parchment paper and we can see the Gulab Jamuns over cake.
    Remove the ramekin bowl. Fill it with sugar syrup and add a few rose petals in the syrup.
    Garnish the cake with some slivered almonds and pistachios. Serve with lukewarm sugar syrup and enjoy.
