Hey!! 👋 I watch your videos! You're collection is just pure amazing 🤩🤩I love how you have pretty much every genre! And I'm looking forward to Takane and Hana!! I hope it's just pure giggles and cuteness! And I love Library Wars. I think it's so relevant at any time period especially the conversation around censorship. So important! 😁👌 Thanks so much for the comment ⭐☺️
The reason why Strobe edge manga is out of print. Viz doesn't keep every volume of all of its older series in print, so it wouldn't surprise me if some are getting hard to find. My friend in Japanese works at manga stores in Japan specialize in vintage manga, including Yumeno Bookstore in Jimbocho, Tokyo. I accumulated quite a tower of secondhand manga. Used manga is notoriously inexpensive in Japan - we're talking less than 100 yen per volume sometimes. And used books are not that far behind, with some great finds priced at less than 1,000 yen. Plus, it's often impossible to tell the difference between a new book and a secondhand one in Japan. Personally, I never noticed any flaws significant enough to hinder my reading experience among the used books I bought there. That's about 1 to 10 dollars where I buy most of my volumes at.
Yeah! 😄 But it would be so nice if they did a lot more reprints and you're always making me want to go and learn more Japanese 😄☺️ just so I can have cheaper and more authentic volumes! ⭐
Trust me, the manga volumes are have in Japan are much smaller here. I have about 20 volumes in my rooom right now. The paper is much cheaper and isn't expensive. Manga in Japan is preserved and there will be reprints or some companies will stock them up for newer fans.
