i hit OK to save the changes it doesnt save. its just showing my original photo

Make sure that you go back to the lasso tool and press on the photo. That will take the dotted line off of your subject before you do the blur tilt. Once you do that, then you can blur the background and it should save it. Hope this helps.

It’s ctrl/cmd + click on the layer mask to load it as a selection
