- I got scammed buying "prototype" LEGO Star Wars The Bad Batch Minifigures for $50 on Mercari! These were supposedly given to the seller by his friend who works for LEGO! How convenient! These knockoff LEGO Minifigures come from China as it turns out. Don't fall for these scams yourself and AVOID Mercari seller Quinn Michaels!

Lego MUST make a bad batch kind of battle pack set. It will disappear before it even releases

@@CrashByDaylight I have some bad news for you man. Lego has not realised any battle pack in recent waves so they are defenetly not going to make a bad batch battle pack. But they are defenetly going to make a set on the new Bad Batch animated series that will appear next year perhaps, with the clone wars art stile.
It's insane, the Chinese are selling a P2 Cody, Echo, P2 Rex, Jesse, Moff Gideon, Bo Katan, etc...there's ebay sellers that have tens of thousands of sales. I'm not actually hating: I've bought some for son, he has a pretty legit looking Commander Bly and a Bo Katan. It seems like their QA is getting a little better, arms and hands on certain figs would be very loose at times. They're OK, but we would swap them for Lego CMFs in a heartbeat.

When I was like 10, I got a Warmachine minifigure off E-Bay. It was a fake, it did not say lego on any of the parts. The guy gave me my money back and let me keep the figure tho.

Yeah, but you can get fair priced clone commando DC-17M blasters from other sellers which is what I did to complete their look as well as buying some DC-17 blaster pistols for both them and my similarly knock off Captain Rex, who by the way looks amazing.

The Chinese ones are usually pretty badass. Lots of detail that lego would never include.

I would not call it a scam. They actually look good
The design actually looks pretty good. Still a scam though. The seller misrepresented (flat out lied) about them being official Lego in order to justify the premium price, and used inferior, cheaper materials. Even misrepresented where they were manufactured, since it was clearly marked right on the packaging that they were made in China, not Denmark. Actually makes me wonder, if the seller sent them through the mail, if he could be federally charged for mail fraud.

I actually bought this exact figurs a few days ago. I bought them on ebay for 16€ as costume Figures. They actually look very nice, and for 4€ each worth it.

5:46 actually this does happen, i remember having trouble removing some helmets from old sets (they were official, with LEGO branding and all)
Tho the minifigure was pretty old at that point, so it might just've been wear-and-tear

I bought those from aliexpress on purpose as well. When my son saw that episode where they were introduced, he thought they were the dopest things ever. He's well aware of fake lego sets/minifigures.Surprisingly the quality of the ones I received were pretty good. When Lego actually makes them,I'm sure I'll be buying them for him and myself.

MNR if you go to AliExpress they have a lot of ones like that that you can get for like $0.85 which is a good deal and I agree it’s not lego but if you are making a custom mod or scene form thing like I am working on they can be kinda nice I only got them since there is no lego one. Want to know what you think about something like that.

I'm Familiar with this brand of offbrand Lego I bought alot of Mini figures from The Brick Armory I didn't mind them the plastic did through me off though and I knew they where off brand before I even bought them

Most of the time you can find all five knockoff figures for 10$ somewhere much cheaper than the 80$ for the official ones I personally like the knockoffs they're cheaper plastic obv but they look cool and they didn't put a hole in my pocket book, so just be careful and now buy the scam ones

Just came from seeing the new official lego bad batch and I think these are better.
I’m going to buy all four of them for like $20 on Etsy, great quality, great reviews, custom made. Mercari wouldn’t be the best for buying custom LEGO like this. (I knew it was Mercari just by the way the description looks and stuff, I bought some LEGO for GREAT prices on their.

To check for counterfeits, take off the head and look at the neck.
It has to have some color spot (mostly black) on the front side, since the figures are assembled by a machine by Lego, and this is how the machine recognizes the front side of the torso. No color spot means mostly likely a fake.

Ok I haven’t been scammed but, I have purposely bought fake LEGO for the guns, blasters, helmets, armour or heck even with the Crosshair you just showed… I bought that cause of the blaster but also cause it’s a bit more accurate than the LEGO version
