In "Back to the Beach" - the very impressive directing debut of Australian music video director Lyndall Hobbs (I wish she'd make another film, this one is a blast!) those "Beach Party" sweethearts of the '60s - Annette Funicallo & Frankie Avalon - are now married with children (Demian Slade & Lori Loughlin) and trying to put the zip back into their marriage. This fun and funny musical comedy overflowing with guest cameos and '60s -meets-'80s aesthetics is a winning spoof of the entire Beach Party genre. Both Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello have called it their favorite Beach movie.
