My favorite Camaro is the 2nd generation Camaro including the Z28 the rarest is the Yenko Turbo Z and it’s the ultimate 2nd generation Camaro of them all
I had one of these as my 1st car when i was 16. Mine had House of Colors Blue/green/purple color chaning paint anf T-Tops. I swapped my wheels for some corvette wides with knife centers
That sounds like an awesome first car ! I'll bet you have some great memories of that one! My first car was a 65 Malibu SS! Here's a link to another 81 Camaro I found if you would like to see it: ua-cam.com/users/shortsejyl5kxnPFk?si=702yXhVqPN0ByJU2
@allenscarsandstuff As someone who got my DL in 2001, 2 days after 911, and showed up with that car to the HS parking lot.... I instantly became the most popular guy in HS. Got tail that was dreamed of by all the others, and even several years after I graduated, I still had girls hitting of me, just because as freshmen, they saw me and that car and wished they could have a quick ride. Back then, sound systems and base were a thing, too. I removed the back seat and installed a 1000w amp with a 4 port band pass bass, with two 15" Audiobahn Subs and a Panasonic remote 55w head unit. I had a badass car with badass sound. And True dual straight pipe exhaust with a 350ci SBC, cam, heads, intake and Edelbrock 850cfm carb to back up the chop.. The ceramic clutch was a little hard to start off with, but always made a nice "chirp" when I grabbed 2nd and 3rd... With the subframe connectors installed, the 12 bolt rear, and 4:10gears... It was literally the P Magnet dream of every kid. BUT IT WAS MINE!!! And that "Magnet" had a very strong pull.. lol
Nice Camaro! You sure find the nice ones, I think that's the second Camaro of that era you've found that looked that good! That's a nice paint job too, and the 4 speed seemed to be kind of rare in the late '70s and early '80s ones.
Thanks Dylan! Yes the other Z28 was a blue 81. What if you parked them together and put on the 3-D glasses? Hahaha I think the 4 speed was probably rare too.
Sharp Z28 I don't think I've seen many of those in red,,cool 👍 👍
It does look good in red ♥️ especially with the gold wheels!
