Hello doctr my mother is an osteoporosis patient taken binista injection,had femoral neck fracture.
As her acetabulum was intact she had an partial replacement on may 2019
After little bit good going her metal ball hurt the acetabulum nd it shows a hair line crack.
Now she is in traction to repair the acetabulum

Sir meri mother ke cobalt chrome implant lage hain. Titanium stem and socket. Cobalt Chrome head. Metal on metal. Open technique se after hip fracture. 1 month pehele. Internet is very negative about cobalt chrome implants. she is walking now with a walker. Your views sir plz ?

Sir My Wife had surgery for hip socket correction at the age of 16 but the surgery was unsuccessful and her leg is shorten and she limp a lot which is bending her spine gradually and she is over weight which also become difficult for her to do normal household and stand for a while can we do a hip replacement of her and correct her leg length and what are the consequences after hip replacement like she can sit cross leg, any issue while going giving delivery

Life of implant depends 80% on surgical technique and 20% on implant. If surgical technique is not good, any implant will fail. So don't run after costly implants , go for MIS technique.

I just want say is it possible to get increase in height after hip replacement in one leg as I have short leg from another leg. I have had leg operation near from my hip due to the pain I had in my left leg so after the operation now my one leg is shorter than the other one. Now I also have pain in my hip of all the time up to knee, so I was wondering if I do the hip replacement will I get some increase in left leg, it’s shorter like 3 to 4 inches.

My problem is one side of my pelvis is lower than the other
I asked the doctor after the sergury why i have this problem
He said Your both leg length same, the feeling what you have is because of muscle tightness, once they stretch, it will be fine, u have to walk with feet close and parallel to each other
Is that right?

The best treatment for AVN all over the world is Hip Replacement. Core decompression and stem cell therapy etc can be done at stage 2 but results are not good. So there is no point in wasting your time and money. If you have pain which is interfering with your daily life or you have to take pain killers frequently. ...go for Hip Replacement.
