- Norberto BROGGINI plays Prima Toccata from an XVII century manuscript attributed to Girolamo FRESCOBALDI (1583-1643) now in the Bibliotheca Bodmeriana (Cologny, GE) on Hubert Bédart-Heugel italian harpsichord with nylon gut strings ("tiorbino")
Very sophisticated technique and interpretation.
Very interesting and pleasant sound from these strings.
Superb sound
I really like the sound of the nylgut on this instrument. Can you please share what gauge strings you are using for each bracket of notes, as well as the string vibrating length (e.g., for each C note)?
Very interesting how this sounds like the "classical guitar" preset on a electric keyboard
Fine! Thank you.
Fantastic! Did you eliminate the octave stringing and just single string the fundamental notes?
Exact!

Really great sound you get. Are those nylgut strings from Aquila? The detail of articulation really brings out the lines!
It sounds like you have the “Lute Stop” on.

Sounds like a classical guitar plucked at the bridge
HOLD THE CAMERA STILL, FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!
Grazie a lei :)
Is this catgut or nylon?
João Victor Silva sounds more like nylon.
