Frankly, I feel like the music is a big part of why Guilty Gear is my favorite fighting game series. Without that factor, King of Fighters would probably beat it.
I like how this song basically doesn't reflect how Chaos used to be at all besides the infamous stanza about 10 years and 2 seconds. Unlike most characters who've changed a lot from their original selves and are motivated in part by the knowledge of their pasts, Chaos does not care about that AT ALL anymore. Happy Chaos' song has a part before the chorus where he mentions two hundred eyes and a hundred of him. I think, in my semi faded state, that it's perception. Every single person that sees him has a different way of seeing him. This also works for the next time it happens. Hundred mouths, hundred of him, everybody is telling a different version of him. The lines after these make it apparent what he wants. The truth is not always real. Oddly horrifying. Despite the Animation quality of the rest of movie they nailed every scene with Chaos.
Happy Chaos is just a guy with ADHD, magic, and a gun he can barely use.
I don't know anything about the Guilty Gears story, but the guy gives me the vibes of someone who becomes the world-end threatening villain, not because he actually wants to destroy the world, but just because he wants the heroes to eventually succeed and the world rejoice in the victory. He just wants everyone to have something actually exciting to happen in their lives to remember.
Well you got it on the money mate
Jackpot
You sure didnt known the story before cause that straight up his story. Plus he has no connection to anything and dosent care about anything and because of that everything is amazing to him.
@@berserker4861 Well, to be fair, I saw Strive trailers when the game was coming out, so I had the general idea of this guy being the villain, with him blowing up the building and all. But other than that, nope lol, didn't know anything about Strive's actual plot or the plot of previous games, the song is just that good at describing his character.
@@kescaremon2531 MOst Strive themes lyrics manage to get the characters personality across perfectly, even the ones with wackier sounding lyrics. its a talent of Daisuke's that happens because he both writes the songs, came up with like 95% of the character concepts, and directed the entire plot so it all molds together around his vision with everyone else coming together to support it and make it real.

Even if 100 ppl see or talk about the same thing, each one will still perceive things different because of their own way of thinking, therefore yes, what they see and talk might be true, but not real.
Oh damn, I didn't even think about it this way, but it sounds awesome. I just figured that these lines refered to his nigh-omnipotent, all-knowing nature, but it now sounds kinda dumb in comparison to your version.

I just noticed something that's either me looking far too deep into things or me being an absolute genius. He wants to see how he's seen continue because it's a show that humanity survived to a blue sky, he wants that, a future after the danger where stories are told about it and who fought in jt
that's how I interpreted those lyrics too, good job 👍

"200 eyes on me, there's hundreds of me"
I believe it means that there are hundreds pairs of eyes that are making hundreds of images of someone. The truth is not always real.
So is "hundreds of mouths speak of me, hundreds of me will be born"
It means that every time someone talks about him, it's just another image of him from someone's description.
