- Welcome to our brand new series, A Tale of Carp with Dave Levy 😍🙌
This brand new series follows Dave as he targets waters outside of his comfort zone, picture non-commercial waters in iconic places.
In this new series Dave visits wild, and largely unknown destinations, where he will put all of his skills to the test at these challenging venues, the first episode we’re bringing to you is filmed at the River Lot 🔥
“You hear about these waters that are a more off the beaten track so to speak and then you’ll hear that the fish hard to locate, it’s a struggle for a bite, the stock is unknown, the conditions are tough and so on, to me that just gets me even more fired up and ready for the challenge. That’s what this series is all about, I’m buzzin’ for it!”

Wasnt until i moved to Germany that I realised how stuck on fishing lakes for the fishing alone i really was. I totally felt what you meant by its the place not just the fishing, i mean im fishing waters here both lakes and rivers and also down the road in the netherlands and france all within easy driving distance that are just beautiful and even un touched , they are postcard perfect, the forest lakes here look insanely amazing and even if you never fished them, just being at them is a dream. i just love now enjoying seeing them all as much as i do catching carp. Awesome video, will share as much as possible and best of luck on future adventures mate, theres a world of magical places and waters out there, we just have to get out and look.

Still to date the best place I’ve ever fished, we did 6 nights and had 17 fish to 50lb between us. The challenges we faced where up there with some of the hardest angling I’ve faced! But the variety of carp blew my mind, dumpy simmo mirrors that looked liked they’d escaped lakes in floods, long lean and mean commons, can’t wait to get back

Fantastic video, brilliant camera work, I really enjoyed it! For part 2 it would be nice to give some credits tot the guys that rent out these boats, "Lot of Carp" together with "Angling Escapes". Maybe also worth mentioning the fact that these guys gave you all the info on how and where to fish on these riversections
