Of course he uses them because he is sponsored, Im not, and during an unforgettable session on Iktus when the carp were spawning and the Sturgeon were having it I was glad of the Apex medium curve 2XX hooks. I soon realised that the fish were just getting bigger and bigger and when I hooked into a 140lb Beari Sturgeon the hook I was using deffo showed signs of straightening out, so I changed rigs to the 2xx hooks that I bought just before the trip (just in case) and I was glad I did, on the last day of may I hooked into a fish that was obviously something very special, two hours later I along with my fishing buddy was wallowing in the water with what turned out to be the French national record fish, a Transmontanous Sturgeon of an estimated 260lb, a fish known to the excellent staff at Iktus to be 100+ years old. Unbelievably the following day on the first of june I caught it again (apparently never happened before). The reason for my story is simple guys, the 2XX hooks never showed any sign of strain, and thats a fact, just to finish the story I finished on 24 Sturgeon with an average size 78lb and 6 over 100lb not including the big fella. As the expression goes "just saying like".
