I got a 01 2500 HD with factory 3" tubing, no cats, x-pipe about where passenger side cat was and then nothing else (yet) so it ends at the x-pipe. Sounds mean as hell but alittle too much chop. I dont want it to sound like a pickup, i want it to sound like a corvette lol yours sounds badass, hopefully mine gets closen when i get it finished and run the pipes over the rear axle. Might try resonator tips... I or not lol
Ebay shorty headers, they fit great for me. However they aren't the best quality, I went with them because they are cheap and I won't be using them anymore next year since I going turbo
That thing is either running richer than hell or you've got a piston ring problem.
Do you have pics of how the exhaust was setup before it all got changed up?

Better be getting a turbo or 2 so you can change your trans once a month until you get the coin for the beefing up the trans.

Pump is a bosch 044 located under the bed
With the cats removed does it get rid of the back pressure to where it doesn’t run right or have the right power or was there no difference?
You’d only have back pressure issue if you ran something like shorty headers with no exhaust after.
how loud is it? could I daily without mufflers or too loud
What tripe of wheels are those? Size and offset?

I gotta 5.3 swapped 2003 with no x pipe did the x pipe make any difference with the sound?
I never ran it without an x-pipe
