I know this is an older video, but I see that you didn't use the adapter to connect hoses. My 18"×48" pool has 3 connections for hoses. I assume that the box contained the parts, but your pool didn't require. I am just trying to replace my Bestway pump i currently use, the pump works fine, it's that the hoses are cracking and I am using Flex Tape. I can't find replacement hoses, so guessing buy the whole kit.
